I would love to see Pep at another club in another league (Premier League ideally). Bielsa from Athletic tipped for Barcelona, hardly suprising.

The four managers that have been earmarked are believed to include Athletic Bilbao's maverick Argentine coach Marcelo Bielsa and ex-Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas.

Irony will be AVB takes over and meets us in the CL and gets us eliminated.

My moneys on Bielsa. 3rd best manager in the La Liga imo. A wonderworker.

I doubt you will see Pep at a club until 2013-14 season

He's going to stay out of football until Fergie retires...don't try and deny it.

Totally agree.

I've heard several times, he'd only leave Barca to take a break from football. And this season he's looked a bit ravaged with all the stress of the job, and think he's taken the team and style of football as far as it can go.

All i hope is that Messi continues to keep getting better every season.

They need to stop being so over reliant on him, or risk really burning him out long term, if they want him to get better and better.

I watched a Sky Sports News video which is still on there from 2011, it is an interview with Pep and he says he would like to face a new challenge at another club one day, so I think we could be seeing this happening. I think he will take a break first and wait for the right opportunity though.

Again I agree, he's looked tired the last couple of weeks, surprised he still hasn't had any injuries.

Still if he manages to equal gerd mullers record of 67 goals in a season, that will be phenomenal.

Two spanish teams in Europa League final. Athletico were very good in that game.

Athletic Bilbao were impressive. Valencia were not. Sporting were impressive. Atletico were not. Jeffren was not.

After today's match. Ronaldo 43 goals, Higuaín 21, Benzema 20. First time in history three players of the same team reach 20 goals in the Spanish league.

Yes, it does look like Mourinho's Real Madrid is an all out defensive team that knows nothing about scoring, as journalists say time and again. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

This season he has silenced those critics who once said his teams play '' ugly '' football . Real Madrid have played some wonderful football and are scoring at will .

Except Spanish press. They're still at it. Higuaín is ****, Coentrao is ****, Khedira is ****, Mou is an ultradefensive coward, Sahin is nothing, Cristiano is an egostistical ball sucking ******* who should be sold, and replace them with León, Soldado and Morata (of course, as soon Mou were to bring Morata to the first team he'd be **** and Jesé the good one)... It doesn't matter for them what they do, the thing is placing a manager that lets them get their dirty hands in the club, create polemic and then get dinners with players to have exlclusives about how they fight each one, get players sacked, allies in the locker room to air all the dirt inside and get fat thinking they got power.

Past season when they won Copa del Rey, that suddenly was a competition for losers even if days before it was the biggest Copa del Rey ever. Today the league is worthless, "even Schuster won it" (before Pep) and reaching UCL's semifinals twice in a row after falling in eigthth finals for several more years in row with scores like the Liverpool's 4-0 is also worthless because the club's history DEMANDS the team WIN the UCL every year. Because they think that trophies are won by team's history and name, not by the players of the field.

The worse of all is there's some guys in the club that think like that, like in the basketball section. The previous season, Ettore Messina (one of the greatest managers in basketball) said in an interview "we can't go thinking that because we won the maximum European competition eight times we will win everything or that we have to win everything. What we have to do is work hard and do our best to win, if we don't then learn and try next season". The next day Juan Carlos Sánchez, the director of the basketball section (and utterly incompetent) called an interview to say that was **** and that Real Madrid has to win everything because of his past. Disgusting.

Is this the spanish or Catalan press?

The Copa del Rey was the catalonian, but the rest, both, I think. I don't read any, I speak for what I hear to my friends who do.
