Curtis, this is really irritating. You didn't even check the context when i said that.

That post was a short reply to your assumption (Not surprised). Just to shut you up i posted. No wonder you are using that post to prove something. Whatever rocks your boat.

As for being "anti-Prem," I think it's the best league in the world, and you're the one calling La Liga a joke of a league...if anything, you're being "anti-La Liga." I'm not really sure what your problem is, but it seems that you're still angry with me from the other thread on loyalty, probably because I used a few ManU players as examples in that OP. Pretty funny considering that I was making reasonable claims, and even Joel pretty much agreed with what I had to say by the end.

And one last time, i watch La Liga so I will post here. If you are so offended stop reading my posts. Thats not too hard. I repear Barca is not La Liga. Spanish NT is not La Liga.

Oh and that thread shows how hypocrite you are. Had ManUtd went unbeated then its a poor United side went unbeaten and league quality has dropped. When Barce were on the verge of record points tally they are historic team. Double standards, Hypocrite, Ignorant much?

I once said I didn't like watching the Prem all that much in an England thread and one of the mods told me I was being "anti-English" and asked me why I was posting in the England section

Barca = Not La Liga. I watch other teams. So I post here.

It was great to see Abidal back smiling and looking healthy last night, deserved title for 'peps pups'.

I don't think Barca are looking as sharp as they used to be judging from their last three games.. Kudos on winning the league but they have eventually done it at a slow jog. Going in to this Champions League final Vs a very in-form Manchester United is not going to be easy and I can't see Barca winning it. They just look generally tired and they are missing Puyol.

Congrats Barca. Still an achievement though. Overall they deserved the league title.

Former Spain international Luis Enrique will be the new man in charge at La Liga side Atletico Madrid this summer, Marca reports.

Barcelona are the highest paying sports team in the world

£1,023,000-a-week worth of talent

Here’s a list of the highest paying sports teams IN THE WORLD and the average weekly amount they pay to their players. The Spoiler always assumed that Baseball/basketball teams would spank little ol’ European football, but apparently not…

1. Barcelona (football) £93,000
2. Real Madrid (football) £86,000
3. NY Yankees (baseball) £79,000
4. LA Lakers (basketball) £76,800
5. Orlando Magic (basketball) £75,000
6. Chelsea (football) £70,700
7. Inter Milan (football) £70,500
8. Boston Red Sox (baseball) £70,350
9. Denver Nuggets (basketball) £70,300
10. Manchester City (football) £69,000

Manchester United are way down in 16th place and pay out only £60,000-a-week according to the ESPN survey

That post was a short reply to your assumption (Not surprised). Just to shut you up i posted. No wonder you are using that post to prove something. Whatever rocks your boat.

I did check the context...you accused me of being anti-Prem, I said I wasn't and that if anyone was anti-something it was you being anti-La Liga. It wasn't an assumption, all I said was "if anything, you're anti-La Liga." But you actually replied that you were anti-La Liga. Now you're telling me that we can't take your words at face value? When can we take you seriously?

And one last time, i watch La Liga so I will post here. If you are so offended stop reading my posts. Thats not too hard. I repear Barca is not La Liga. Spanish NT is not La Liga.

I'll consider it. You are right that Barca and the Spanish NT is not La Liga, but you still hate it and its domestic players anyway, which I find pretty odd.

Oh and that thread shows how hypocrite you are. Had ManUtd went unbeated then its a poor United side went unbeaten and league quality has dropped. When Barce were on the verge of record points tally they are historic team. Double standards, Hypocrite, Ignorant much?

Well if ManU went unbeaten but didn't have very many points, than yeah, they wouldn't be so good. If they won every game since that post and somehow finished with 90+ points than yeah, they would be an historic team and I wouldn't dispute it. This of course didn't happen and they slipped up a lot, but because a complete lack of serious competition no other team really challenged them (other than Chelsea being in the race for one week). Had Arsenal won the CC and played with confidence and had a good run-out, would ManU still have won the title? I think they would have picked up more points and therefore probably would have won it, because they have the winning mentality. But I don't think they're an historically great team. Barcelona will probably finish with a record point total, were the CC runners-up only to lose in extra time, and were Champions League runners-up, combined with their accolades in the past couple of years. I'd say that makes them historic.

And on the subject of hypocrisy, weren't you the one that started a thread called Why so much hatred in the modern game? That's a bit hypocritical considering you're the most hateful poster on the site other than perhaps a few Rangers/Celtic trolls.

Barca = Not La Liga. I watch other teams. So I post here.

Well if you're going to post a lot about how terrible a league is and how much you hate it, keep in mind that if you post in the only thread devoted to it on the site you're going to get some flak from the league's fans.

Holy ****, an average of £93,000 a week?! ******* ****.

Quique Sanchez Flores' departure from Atletico Madrid appears to be a sure thing, Guillem Balague who knows the man himself blogged that his departure was basically inevitable and he would be seeking pastures in the Premier League with Villa being touted as destination.

Manuel Pellegrini will be given another year at Malaga to deliver a top ten finish with summer arrivals expected to include Kanoute, Kiko and Subotic.

And Barcelona have been told the price for Rossi is 27 Million Euro's and Bojan on loan, I can see Barce agreeing to these terms to be honest it suites both clubs.

Holy ****, an average of £93,000 a week?! ******* ****.

To be fair thats probably why they have 570 million Euro debts lol, Messi is not even their top earner which is pretty insane

You find it odd, not everyone.

And on the subject of hypocrisy, weren't you the one that started a thread called Why so much hatred in the modern game? That's a bit hypocritical considering you're the most hateful poster on the site other than perhaps a few Rangers/Celtic trolls.
Yes i dont hate any team with passion unless they do something very shambolic. Even now all i did was just point out what Barca did, which offends you so much that you continuously say that i hate Barca than anyone (As if you know everyone in the site, again assumption, basis of your life).
It was disgusting to see Barca rolling around the ground and hounding ref. It was not the case earlier, it was only seeing their behavior i started hating them. FYI i dont hate any English teams. I dislike them . And i didnt say not to hate, i was just asking why there is so much hatred in the modern game.

I know where to post what. In La Liga thread i post what is going on instead of crying about the standard of league.

And FYI, I'm not interested in league Vs League talk, only posted so much coz of your ignorance and how you fail to give the credit where it is due and started acting as if Barca was God's gift. Before that at least on this site I was never involved in League vs League ****.

Maybe its best to ignore few here as it saves lot of time writing essays..

It's absolutely ridiculous considering they only have 14 or so really good players and the rest aren't any good.

Quique Sanchez Flores' departure from Atletico Madrid appears to be a sure thing, Guillem Balague who knows the man himself blogged that his departure was basically inevitable and he would be seeking pastures in the Premier League with Villa being touted as destination.

Yeah apparently Luis Enrique will succeed him. It's a good thing, Atletico is stacked with talent and they have constantly underperformed this season. I remember Luis Enrique from way back in the day, was a great player and I heard he became a marathon runner or something like that, I didn't know he was involved in coaching.

If they bring in Rossi that would be a terrible move...he won't get that much PT there and it only will stunt the growth of their other players. 27 million Euros (which is a great deal if Carroll is worth 38) is too much for a back-up. That being said I'm not so sure how savvy the higher-ups are there, they seem to be pretty dense when it comes to transfers. That and their ridiculously high wage bill is probably why they're in so much debt (and of course not having a sponsor on their shirt til this year).

I hear Mata is coming to Liverpool in the summer, how good do you guys think Valencia will be next season? I am surprised they were this good this season after losing their two most important players. But after losing another attacking player? They play well as a team and are consistent in league play, but I have a feeling they will struggle in the Champions League next season. They just don't have the firepower.

39 league goals to Ronaldo if you include goal against Real Sociedad. 52 goals in this season.

or 38 goals in the league and 51 in the season.

Absolutely brilliant.

I dont know how you took that seriously when i said I'm anti La liga just to shut you up then. Not my fault.

FFS you were the one accusing me of being anti-Prem, I said I wasn't and simply that you were being more anti-La Liga than I was being anti-Prem, and you confirmed it. Now you're saying you didn't mean it, when are we supposed to take you seriously?

You find it odd, not everyone.

You hate a club and a national team and that makes you hate everyone else from that country that plays there...I don't see how that can't be considered odd.

Yes i dont hate any team with passion unless they do something very shambolic. Even now all i did was just point out what Barca did, which offends you so much that you continuously say that i hate Barca than anyone (As if you know everyone in the site, again assumption, basis of your life).

I dislike them . And i didnt say not to hate, i was just asking why there is so much hatred in the modern game.

But you hated Barca way before the last few games, and my point is that plenty of other teams dive and hound the ref but you don't hate them, it's only Barca that you hate. So clearly there are other reasons you hate them...and as for the thread, I'm pretty sure you condemned hatred in football at several points, so it is hypocritical.

I know where to post what. In La Liga thread i post what is going on instead of crying about the standard of league.

And if I talked about how much I hated the Prem and all English players than I probably would **** off a lot of the people in that section of the forum.

And FYI, I'm not interested in league Vs League talk, only posted so much coz of your ignorance and how you fail to give the credit where it is due and started acting as if Barca was God's gift. Before that at least on this site I was never involved in League vs League ****.

So it's the site that encourages you to do that? You're on an English site for christ's sake, there's no way this forum encourages you to be anti-La Liga. Anyway, your claim that you aren't interested in league vs. league **** is pretty ridiculous since you're the one that always brings it up...you are more critical of La Liga than anyone on this site is of any league. No one here is ripping into the Premiership yet you feel the need to constantly criticize and hate on another league. Not sure what your issue is.

Issue is someone just generalising everything and thinks the whole world think as Curtis do.

Nth time, I hate team doesn't mean i hate league. If you can't get this simple statement, i can't help you.

I hate ManCity, Liverpool(Respect them though), Arsenal(Same like Liverpool), Chelsea that doesn't mean i hate Premier league.

Jeez, can't carry on forever.

So it's the site that encourages you to do that? You're on an English site for christ's sake, there's no way this forum encourages you to be anti-La Liga.

Are you for real? All i said was coz of your ignorance i brought up League vs League. Not Anti La Liga. You really twist everything and accuse others about it. .

You hate a club and a national team and that makes you hate everyone else from that country that plays there...I don't see how that can't be considered odd.

I find you odd coz you said you dont support Barca but everytime you keep posting how much you love them and their football and how they are God's gift to the game, and how you assume everyone likes their game. Not even cule is as biased as you towards Barca. So? Whats your point?

But you hated Barca way before the last few games, and my point is that plenty of other teams dive and hound the ref but you don't hate them, it's only Barca that you hate

Tems hound ref for big decision, Barca do for every small decision, waving cards. So hate them. I have said this so many times yet gets ignored. End off..

You said you hated all Spanish players other than Raul and Casillas. But let me guess, you weren't being serious.

Are you for real? All i said was coz of your ignorance i brought up League vs League. Not Anti La Liga. You really twist everything and accuse others about it. .

To be you were the one that said you were anti-La Liga, and you constantly bash it even though it's the second best league in the world. I don't see you doing that for Serie A. And you didn't bring up League vs. League in response to me, you come out with these La Liga comments on your own, I've seen it many times. Ridiculous that you credit me for it. And any league debates we have gotten in have been me criticizing you for unfairly criticizing La Liga because I'm not the one going around ripping on other leagues.

I find you odd coz you said you dont support Barca but everytime you keep posting how much you love them and their football and how they are God's gift to the game, and how you assume everyone likes their game. Not even cule is as biased as you towards Barca. So? Whats your point?

And I've never seen a Madrileno who hates Barca as much as you do, which is odd considering how many reasons the two teams have to hate each other. I never assumed everyone likes their game, I just made the obvious statement that many neutrals do. Obviously they have their haters but there is a reason the media fawns over them. And really I haven't been posting how great their football is recently, I have at times. Most of my recent posts have been defending them despite their very poor behavior in those games because they are being unfairly put in the crosshairs.

Tems hound ref for big decision, Barca do for every small decision, waving cards. So hate them. I have said this so many times yet gets ignored. End off..

Oh come on, Barca did it a lot during those games, but both teams' behavior was bad and they were very intense games. There is no way that is the reason you hate them. First of all, it is annoying to see a team hound the ref, but definitely not a reason to hate a team, and no way in **** to hate them passionately as you do. And it doesn't even have that much of an effect, a ref isn't going to pull out a card just because some players surround him. Second, they seem to have started doing that recently, way after you started hating them. Third, plenty of teams do that but you never talk about it. I see Chelsea do it all the time yet you don't mention it. Do you hate Bayern Munich and other typical German teams for it? I haven't seen you talk about them in every thread. You clearly hate Barca for other reasons and when their behavior is bad hound them for it.

And I've never seen a Madrileno who hates Barca as much as you do, which is odd considering how many reasons the two teams have to hate each other. .
.

I have seen so many Madridistas who hate them more than me. Why them, check Inter fans, they hate Barca more than any. I hate a team its my wish. It has nothing to do with you, mind your business.

I never assumed everyone likes their game, I just made the obvious statement that many neutrals do. Obviously they have their haters but there is a reason the media fawns over them

Most ****** up statement with no sense. Obvious statement? Try harder. Many dont like it. I have seen many people feeling Barca's game boring than exciting.

Bolded part is the reason why you are hypocrite. You called Jose overrated as media goes on and on about him, but you use the same media to prove how well Barca plays. Well done..

Oh come on, Barca did it a lot during those games, but both teams' behavior was bad and they were very intense games. There is no way that is the reason you hate them

You know me personally?

.

Pepe was sent off for the same reason.

Second, they seem to have started doing that recently, way after you started hating them.

They started doing ever since Pep was in charge so i hate Pep's Barca. I liked Rijkaard's Barca.

Third, plenty of teams do that but you never talk about it. I see Chelsea do it all the time yet you don't mention it.

Like i said for big decision every team does, but small decisions only Barca do.

Do you hate Bayern Munich and other typical German teams for it? I haven't seen you talk about them in every thread.

Typical Germans was Fergie's mistake. They dont do that everytime.

You clearly hate Barca for other reasons and when their behavior is bad hound them for it.

Again You know me personally to deny what i say?

Completely twisting my words yet again. I clearly wasn't using the media to demonstrate how good they are, their record speaks for itself, I was obviously pointing out that the reason the media fawns over them is because people like to watch them play. A person or team with style will be talked about incessantly by the media. Mourinho has style so the media goes crazy over him. The same goes for Barca. I'm not trying to dispute the fact that some people don't like how they play, but a **** ton of neutrals really like watching them.

You know me personally?

It's called logic. If you hated a team for crowding the ref than you would make a much bigger deal when other teams do it and you'd hate other teams too. I've never even seen you complain about another team doing it. More importantly it's a ridiculous reason to hate a team for. Sure it's an annoying behavior, but you play up way too much how often Barca does it (they were bad in those two games but Madrid was just as bad in that regard), and it's definitely not a reason to hate a team with that kind of passion. I've never seen anyone in my life hate a non-rival as much as you hate Barca, so I doubt it's just for "crowding the ref," a very common behavior in football.

Pepe was sent off for the same reason.

So you can read the ref's mind?

They started doing ever since Pep was in charge so i hate Pep's Barca. I liked Rijkaard's Barca.

Like i said for big decision every team does, but small decisions only Barca do.

Actually they really don't do it more than other big teams. The RM games were bad but both sides were bad and there were reasons for that, although people won't stop talking about it. But on a consistent basis they're nothing like how you portray them, no different from other big teams.

Again You know me personally to deny what i say?

It's an obvious observation.

Sigh at your observations..

I've never even seen you complain about another team doing it.

I'm not gonna repeat what i said so many times. Go, Check then post.

More importantly it's a ridiculous reason to hate a team for

Who are you? Are you from ******* Mars to decide for what reasons people should hate teams?

Actually they really don't do it more than other big teams.

Have to stop with this. Cant carry any further..

You don't have to be a Martian to know that it's silly to hate a team that much for crowding refs...because it happens in football all of the time. Makes no sense to pick out one team that does it, hate them with a passion, and not hate any other teams for that reason. ******* ridiculous.

Well, beside this nice conversation taking place over here, and now that i've been out of here for a while, just wanted to comment the current situation about my beloved supported club Real Zaragoza.

As I guessed during all the season, we are still struggling to avoid relegation.
The only "good" news (or the least bad); we don't depend on others to avoid it or not. The thing is clear; we have to win. If we do, we are saved.
Also good news that we play against Levante, who are already saved and therefore nothing else to be decided for them this season (appart from some money that other involved clubs could give to them to win us, but this year I honestly doubt it as many clubs are in a horrible economic situation. Enough if they pay their own players, so how would they thing on paying others).

It was a real shame the defeat against Osasuna here at La Romareda, making the unexpected win in the Bernabeu statium quite useless.
It was a shame, I say, because you simply cannot loose that match playing at home, against your main rival, winning 1 - 0 at the half time and struggling to avoid relegation.

Well, many and many Zaragoza supporters will travel to Valencia, so apparently the Ciutat de València statium will be sort of a little Romareda there.
Now it's time for the players not to fail and make their part.

About the other team to be relegated instead of us, i have no preference. May the best win, good luck to everyone.
