After an extremely disappointing start to Villarreal's campaign, the current manager has been cleared of his duties. Raul, the new chairman said that the management of the team has been extremely poor, and the fact that they are stuck in this relegation battle is unbelievable. When asked about the new manager, Raul said that no back up has been arranged, but fans hope that a new manager is employed soon
