VdM ended up finishing 6th. Yet another underwhelming season. I think we are the Liverpool of this save - great facilities and setup with lots of promise every year only to bottle it and just about finish top 6. Winning nothing...

Can we sack our manger? Next year will be our year for sure...

Coupe de la Ligue
Due to unrest between Club Owners and the Ligue des Capitales Federation, the Coupe de le Ligue didn't take place this season. There were talks about the Ligue des Capitales would be scrapped all together this year, but Owners were able to sign a new collective agreement days before the league started its season. Coupe de la Ligue will resume without hiccup the upcoming season.

The fans were not happy with the decision, robbing an extra club from Europa League birth. In return, the Federation has decided that the next season's Coupe des Coupes will be played between Stockholm Tuesday and Stark FC(the current CdlL holders).

*** There have been many managerial movements at the end of the season. That will be up during the next update as usual. There seems to have been an issue with the Coupe des Coupes and Coupe de la Ligue last season, so no CdlL. Things seem to have worked out again and it will be back next season. I was wondering why FC Paris Titans played the CdC instead of Stark FC, it turns it that something didn't quite work out with Stark FC side of things. Oh well, business will be back to normal. ***​

I'm liking this new manager already bottom to 3rd is some achievement and European footy next year. I just hope this isn't another false dawn and the squad doesn't get distracted into thinking they've made it just because they have qualified for a continental competition.

I hope the club can hang on to the younger players and build from there.

The Nights Watch FC can't be happy with that season, the players should perform much better. Therefor I would love to sack the manager.

VdM want to sack their manager too! In the last 17 games of the season we got 23 points, going from 2nd to 5th. Yet again another season without winning anything or qualifiying for European football.

Also it is possible to see what the club finances are like and what is being made available for transfers? (If too much work do not worry about it).
