This was one of Rhys’s best performances and I am very pleased with both the performance of him and the team. This was the first round of the FA cup and we went through with no hassle.

A disappointing performance by the boys in a game I expected them to win easily but all credit to them pushing on until the final whistle and Bebe once again picked up another goal to add to his impressive tally.​

I did not expect too much from the guys in this match. We were not favourites to pick up any points from this match and unfortunately we made no surprises however Ritchie lead the back line and if it wasn’t for our defence Charlton would have trampled us by 5 or maybe 6.​

I expected the team to pick up a convincing win as this was one of the few fixtures we were favourites to win and I am delighted that Bebe continues his fantastic form.

Man of the Match – Adam Boyd​

The FA cup is a tournament I want to go as far through as we can however we were stopped by Oxford who held us to a draw and all credit to them but we should have picked up an easy win here.​

Player of the Month​

Bebe has had a fantastic month with dominating up front and improving at an alarming rate. He is deserved of this crown. He also received 2nd prize in the leagues young player of the month.​

Top Scorer of the Month ​

Bebe this month netted 5 goals and his performances maybe should have let him score more than that. Bebe is only 19 and with goal scoring records like he has for Hartlepool will definitely hold him in good stead for the future.​

A great win for the lads and against the odds as well. Rhys found excellent form for this game and netted 2 fantastic goals. Our defence was also great showing that they can hold off a strong team like Sheffield.​

The second try at Oxford was a lot more successful than the first with a comfortable win. I am pleased that we have made progress in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy and I really hope we can win this tournament.​

A very poor performance by the lads and I hope they will be able to pick themselves up after such a poor display. After such a great start to the season I imagined to pick up the 3 points from one of the easier fixtures like this one.​

A hugely exciting match with both sides deserving to pick up some points. I think a draw is a fair result but maybe we could of picked up the 3 points however, not all of our players turned up for the game today.

A good comfortable win for the boys however a more comfortable win would have been a lot better however I hope a winning run has started today and will last a while.​

Armann Smari Bjornsson had a great month this month netting 4 goals and was huge dominance in the air. He is well deserved of this prize and I hope this form will continue for him.

A impeccable performance from the lads with an absolute smashing of Huddersfield in the first leg so I doubt we will be losing on aggregate after the second leg.​

Clough Plays Former Team​

Today Brian Clough’s new team Hartlepool United have a fixture with his former club Derby County. In the 4th round of the FA cup Hartlepool hope to carry on defying the odds as they progress further in the tournament than they could have ever hoped.​

The lads did their home crowd proud today however should have maybe picked up a win and progress to the next round. It is never nice coming up against your former club however my soul goal was to win and the lads were so close to doing that today.​

Another great performance by the boys and they did well today to hold off Febian Brandy from getting his 20th league goal. I am also very pleased with Paul in particular with him showing why he is a great asset for the team.​

A comfortable first half however it all fell apart in the second with Plymouth fighting back and a poor performance by Scott in goal saw us conceding 2 goals when it really could have been prevented. Still 3 points is 3 points and I am pleased with them and I hope the defence step up for the next game.

Player of the Month​

It was a great month for Paul Murray seeing him net 4 goals and setting up several more. Despite Paul being 33 he performs like a 23 year old and I am pleased with his performances in this month he has really pulled it out of the bag to challenge in what will probably be one of his final seasons in professional football with him being the wrong side of 30 after all.​

Top scorer of the Month

For his first time ever Armann Smari Bjornsson has netted the Top scorer of the month award for scoring no less than 5 goals. He also managed to pick up 2 man of the match awards and was easily the most dominant person in the air for Hartlepool.​

I am sorry to announce but i have just gone back to school and i must turn my attention to my studies for my GCSE's i am sorry to have to end this thread but i hope you all enjoyed it while it lasted. Thanks for your support

LOL i just done my gcse's my adivce is don't study all day it will make you more stressed! I only studied a little bit and i done just fine so (work hard at school) and have fun at home!
