It can get pretty mental as we only play 33 league games but our Gk who practically plays every game has played over 60 games every season for the past 5 seasons.
I want the National Team purely so i can play Maher, Feeney and Delaney all the time but Mick McCarthy has been going strong for 5 years now. Thanks for reading.

Big bucks to play with as we have over ?4Million to play with and a load of extra money in the wage budget but i cant see us changing too much as the side is still relatively young with a lot of other players with potential waiting in the wings too.

A few players like Barker, Galbraith and Folan finally leave the club after being here since before i took over, They never complained and didnt want big wages but were simply not on the level of the rest of the squad anymore.
Also leaving was some of the experienced players i brought in who were not up to the standard anymore with Sheehan, Tabb and Puncheon all leaving.

So i brought in only 2 players one at the end of last season and one at the beginning of the season. So first off was young Left back Freeman who joined from Chelsea's youth setup along with Irish centre back Ciaran Clark who spent all of his career at Aston Villa before his contract was up and has played over 30 times for Ireland to add some much needed experience to our back line.

7 wins in 8 as we lose our first game of the new season but it wasnt enough to knock us out of the Competition as we make the All Ireland Cup Final again and as per usual will face Dundalk!
We won our 3 league matches this month whilst we destroyed a few teams in the Munster Senior Cup Final

5 wins and 2 draws, I can handle a draw against Dundalk in the league but to have a bore draw with the lowly UCD was unacceptable.
We did thrash Dundalk in the Cup putting 7 goals past them with CM Evans grabbing a hattrick along with Maher getting a late hattrick with 10 minutes to go.

Right so the question I have for you guys is who do you think is better at the age of 21/22 last years best striker from the youth intake David *** or this years Thomas Maher?

Not to be biased but i think Maher is going to become an even bigger start than *** could ever hoped to have been.

Like the look of the left back you have signed, Clark should be a good addition to your defence as well.

Finally, I think *** looks slightly better at the same age as Maher but that may change once Maher is fully developed. Do you not have a striker who can tutor Maher and get that determination stat up?
 
*** looks the better player by a fair distance. Judging from their season stats it looks like Maher is possibly more reliable though.
I agree with Scott that Maher could do with a tutor. 8 for determination isn't great.
 
I think Maher is much better physically, but technically and mentally, *** is the better player.
I remember *** from last year, the guy was a beast for you.

Thanks guys im definitly going to look at someone tutoring Maher the lazy *******, Not sure if it may just be the tactic but he does seem to be scoring a lot more goals than *** ever managed and already has 3 Ireland caps.
Im hoping for a few updates today as i try and catch up with myself from this weekend were i played like a season without updating im currently in October so not too far behind at the moment.

PS - Boadu is going to tutor him, hes only 18 months older but he was the only older striker i had and his determination is 16 so hopefully he will give Maher a kick up the ****!

So first off i picked up 2 more players whos contracts expired at the end of June, first one is Ireland International GK Darren Randolph who has just left West Ham and has over 50 caps for Ireland the other was finally sowing up a permanent deal for Denzeil Boadu!

Ouch, Poor Fiorentino as we smash 14 goals past them with Boadu scoring a perfect 10 rating to go along with 4 goals, Lynch also got 4 whilst Maher could only manage a hattrick.

So we played a much younger side in the second leg with 7 players in the starting 11 coming from our youth teams and we still manage to score 9 goals with young winger Barry on top form grabbing a hattrick to seal the 23-0 on aggregate win.

So we are currently on 16 Munster Senior Cup wins in total with 8 of them being since i took charge we need two more wins to take over from Cork City to be the most successful side in the Cup, One of my aims for the save is to be come the most successful side in every Irish cup competition and league.

It looks like it as a close game but it really wasnt as we had so many more chances and better possession but they just made theres count with 3 goals whilst we only managed 4 goals despite so many more chances.

Well there was a big shock as Jagodina took an early lead but after giving them a good shouting at at half time we turned it around in the second half with 3 late second half goals which secured our spot in the Group Stages.

We have 4 players in the Ireland squad now with 3 of our signings this season in the current squad along with Maher but i really think Feeney and Delaney should be making the team and Boadu should be able to qualify soon to play for Ireland.
