To have one player almost reach 30 goals would be pretty good but for my front two to get 58 goals between them this season shows the amazing attacking football we play.

So he was only our 3rd top goalscorer but he still managed to get 20 goals and 20 assists along with 10 man of the match awards!

Young Player of the Year - Val Feeney

19 goals and 15 assists for the 18 year old and he is only going to get better! I gave him the chance to play in the side and he has really taken it, this will be my plan in future seasons to drop a youngster into the first team every year as so many of them have big futures.

So i dont want to go too crazy with the transfers as i look to my finances and i want to make use of all the decent youngsters coming through the youth teams and from the youth intake.

So i sold two promising youngsters who were not happy at the club for a combined ?265k helping with the clubs running costs.

So like i said i didnt want to go too crazy with players coming in as i think we have a good enough side to mount a title challenge this season and we have over 20 4 star and over players in the youth team.

First off i brought in a young winger with a lot of potential who i signed on my previous save with Limerick.

So we are predicted to finish 4th but anything less than a Title challenge this season will be poor, Im hoping for a top two finish and at least a couple of Cups as i always want to be getting better each season along with the fact we have the Europa League qualifiers to look forward too and i have no idead what sort of level we are going to be at.

My 100th game was against Longford Town and we certainly made it memorable with a 5-3 win.

So a poor start to the season as we struggle in the All Ireland Cup before getting knocked out of the competition by Sligo Rovers in only the Quarter Finals having won it last year.
We also lost to fierce local rivals and title challengers Cork City in the league along with a struggling draw with defending Champions Dundalk.
There was a glimmer of hope with some decent wins against Longford, UCD and Shelbourne but they will all be fighting relegation this season.

After our dodgy form in the last couple of months we were in fine form during this very busy month, 8 wins in a row, the Munster Senior Cup games are almost a given with the teams so poor at the start of this competition but to rattle of 5 straight league wins as well was impressive.
As you can see in the last Cup game our Youth Intake strikers from last season were in fine form with Goodwin getting a goal and Maher on form with a brace.

Oh yes were back! Top of the pile after 10 games, Dundalk could go back to the top but they would need to win there game in hand and do it well whilst Cork City had a terrible month in the league by their usual standards.

Oh ****** St Pats hold us to a draw and fierce local rivals Cork City knock us out of the League Cup meaning we have been knocked out already of 2 out of the 3 cups i won last season!
We did win the rest of our league games and progress in the other cup competitions whilst Behan scored 4 penalties in the league this month and broke this record.

God Limerick really didnt have any good goalscorers in the past or at least ones that didnt last very long as Behan becomes the record holder in just 2 and a half seasons at the club.

So i brought in a couple of players who were for the future with both of full backs getting on a bit and the LB Robbie Williams contract up a the end of the season i thought i would sign a couple of decent looking youngsters to fill in.

Oh what a result as we smash Cliftonville for 5 goals with Flood on fine form and away from home almost definitely secure our place in the next round.

So we really should have smashed them again but Curran was poor and we missed Flood big time but managed to draw on the night with Behan grabbing a brace as we make it through to the next round.

Molde got an early goal and i think they were expecting to sit on the win but Behan managed to grab a late equalizer to put us in a strong position for the second leg.

So it was a huge back and forth match with both teams squandering chances but it ended in a draw, its going to be a struggle away from home to win but we have already got a lot further than i expected this season in Europe.​

Thanks mate, and yeah i know our defence is pretty poor, I think were a bit like Liverpool this season and have the score one more than you policy as our defence can always let a few goals in. I think the defence will get better as there all quite young and i have struggled to find a good GK so have to use a guy who has a lot of potential but is not that good at the moment, thanks for reading

So we seal our 3rd Munster Senior Cup in a row as Gaffney who has just agreed to join Rochdale in January on a free transfer comes off the bench to smash a brace in in extra time and show what we will be missing.

Feeney is joint top of the assists charts whilst Flood is 3d in the race for the Golden Boot so far, With all the cup games it makes it seem like Behan would be our league top goalscorer but he mainly scores in them he has 5 more goals overall than Flood this season but just doesn't score in the league.​

Well it was expected but i think we played well and had plenty of chances, I was pleased to see our youth intake striker Maher grab a goal at Old Trafford with Fabianski in their goal?!? They didnt put out the best team but one of their players is worth more than the whole club at the moment.

A Nani hattrick beats us at home after Behan helped us to an unlikely early lead but the gulf in class was huge and we bow out of the Europa League for this season but we did so much better than i ever expected this season in Europe.

So along with our run in Europe we were still going strong in the league with important wins over Shamrock Rovers and local rivals Cork City before being held to draw by title rivals Dundalk.
We also beat UCD and Longford in the league along with thrashing Shelbourne to progress in the cup with young striker Maher in fine form since Curran's injury.

Were on course for my first league title with limerick as were now 3 points clear of Dundalk with a game in hand with 7 games left of the league season and no more Europe to distract us.

So we started the month with a big win over Sligo Rovers in the cup before they got their revenge later on in the month by beating us in the league and putting a dent in our title aspirations.
We managed to win the other games easily with young striker Maher in good form and recent youth intake player Delaney getting his first goal for the club.
