So we get given the big bucks but i just simply cant see anyone we really need right now thats available, We only signed Torje at the end of last season on big wages so i didnt want to go too crazy and not many people have left.
The big loss will be at the end of the season with Ozil retiring but he only played around half the games he usually plays last season due to age catching up with him.

So the only well known player to leave Limerick was former number 1 Darren Randolph who was getting on a bit anyway and only our second choice keeper behind Henderson now whos a good 10 years younger than him.
We also have a youth intake GK called Corrie Cunningham who can be the new backup keeper who doesnt look brilliant but has had Premier League admirers.

I will talk about the Ireland players later but a lot of people were surprised at our first choice keeper getting an England call up but i think it shows how far we have come that we have 2 England players and a Portuguese player getting National caps, the only thing now is that they all have rubbish values im guessing due to the league their in?

We we had so many chances whilst Linfield didnt even have a sniff but it took until the 77th minute before Carmo broke the deadlock but after the floodgates opened for both sides as we hammered in 2 more goals before Linfield got a goal back to end the match 3-1 and secure another All Ireland Cup.

There moaning about Henderson getting in the side but it was really between him and Clark and as Clark is well into his thirties and it was only for a backup spot i thought i would give Henderson the chance as he has more of a future with us whilst Flanagan is like our only RB by a mile so i dont know why the media hate him so much.

Ah ******, We were actually predicted to lose this match but not in such a heartbreaking way as they get the early goal before we equalize with less than 10 minutes to go.
They ended up grabbing the winner in the dying seconds of extra time as i lose my 3rd game as Ireland manager and 1st friendly.

Well another loss but i did try a new tactic and a few different players but as you can tell the tactic was just awful, We struggled throughout the match with no possession or proper chances for a tactic that used to work wonders for me.

Well they say you cant change a habit of a lifetime and ours is losing to Belgium badly as they inflict a 3rd defeat on me since i took charge of Ireland whilst our Captain Boadu lost his head and got sent off.

Crowley scored early on before we had Flanagan sent off for a silly challenge in the second half and our chances were looking bleak.
Corry managed to score a late second goal which was very important as they hit back only seconds later.

So the final group game was a winner takes all match against Belarus.

Well that must be some sort of record to have a player sent off in each of our group matches with Quinn the culprit this time around getting sent off just after the break.

Limerick Move Up European Rankings Again

The mighty Irish side Limerick FC are now up to 17th in the European Club Rankings just behind German Giants Borussia Dortmund whilst ahead of the likes of CSKA Moscow, Inter and Galatasary.

So we actually had 3 games this month despite having 11 first team players out at the Euro's, We managed to just about win the first two matches with our youngsters and reserve players before we dominated the last match thanks to the likes of Carmo getting back from the Euro's early.

Summer Transfer Window

June/July 2024

So i have decided to try and bring some more young Irish players into the squad as im now the National Boss and Limerick are dominated i think its the next natural step to start developing our own star players.

Players Out

So a few players left on loan but the big deal out was 35 year old Ciarian Clark leaving to join Millwall for a nominal fee as he simply wasnt getting the game time with us.

Players In

So the big player in was young Irish Winger/Striker James Moore who i spent a massive £1.5Million on, He is a bit like Samuelsen was in that he has been Dundalk's best player and top goalscorer for a few seasons now and i saw he was heading to the English Premier League and nabbed him before he left, Its nice to not only strengthen your side but weaken your main rivals.
Simon Watson is a young English centre back who has spent all of his career at Chelsea and will go straight into the starting lineup whereas the young Irish pair from QPR are big prospects and should get game time too.
The final free transfer was Eoghan Ryan who Spurs paid over £2.4Million for a couple of seasons ago from us but now rejoins with his contract up.
