limited transfer list (newbie question)

i started a season last night and the only country i clicked at start of game was england.when i went on transfer list to search for some wonderkids id heard of they wernt on there,would this be due to only picking england at start of game?.im under the impression if i pick a few more countries at start of game then the player database and transfer list will be alot larger.am i correct in saying this?and what countries do you guys normally pick? many thanks

I normally pick a lot of countries: England, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Holland, Argentina, Brazil and sometimes Turkey, Norway, Russia, Belgium, Mexico and Chile

thanks..just want more players available when searching on transfer list... i had a list of 25 players i wanted to search for and could only find maximum of 10 on the game...i put this down to the fact i had only picked england league at start of game
