Indeed. Losing Bent was too much for them to handle apparently. Also a pity for Blackpool, it seems like they're going down now. But one has to give credit to Martinez, he stood by his footballing principles and he's taking Wigan out of the relegation zone if only for a day.

Meh, you bought someone who was injured, don't blame the statistics for that. It's just a throwaway stat, but it rather highlights how wrong all those people saying Bent was too expensive were.

Wouldn't say they're going down for certain, they still have a few winnable home games don't they? And it's so tight down at the bottom of the table, anything could happen.
