Live Search!

Hello,

Most of you will now have realised that the live search has been disabled. Unfortunately the live search was more hassle than it was worth.

Every time a search is made it locks up the database for everybody else. So with even a few people searching at any one time the site freezes up for everybody else.

I'm not sure if the live search will ever make a return I'm afraid.

Sean is planning on updating the current search tool to make it a bit easier to use. If however, you cannot find what you require using this tool, you can alternatively use google. (See below example)

Of course we realise this isn’t ideal but it appears that for now, there is nothing we can do to resolve this issue.

This should answer all questions regarding the Live Search & put an end to new threads on the subject. Any further announcements will be made here.

The advanced search tool is currently not functioning correctly. It should be fixed in the next 24 hours or so.

In the meantime this can be an opportunity for some of you to learn to use forums properly, by kicking it old school and going to each individual board and manually looking through the thread titles to find what you need.
