What was attendance tonight? Was kicking myself for not leaving myself enough cash to get there tonight on the fly when I saw how empty it was.

£20 tickets, opposition, midweek and boycott seems to have been a horrid combination.
Urgh, it was horrid, almost everyone there was like "Who's that player?" "Umm...Skrtel..." Everyone slating N'gog, Lucas, as usual, can't wait to get the regulars back. :S
Aswell as four racist, loud mouthed, twats sitting behind us

How was the match, didin't you go :) ?

Nope watched it with interest on ITV 4 though :) The atmosphere seemed pretty good though for a ****** Europa League qualifier. If things go our way this season we should be back in the top 4.

N'gog has three goals this seaason already oO) thats half of whet he got for all of last season! haha :P

Good solid performance, from the team. Young Kelly, being particuarly impressive. Showed good timing and anticipation, in particular his 90th minute clearance. Cole looked very impressive, feeding and taking the ball, however, this is obviously alot down to the opposition.

Gerrard was picking put passes very nicely, a few 'Hollywood' passes, along with some nice simple play. Great performance by him. Glen, at right back, did his usual, getting forward troubling their backline, and he did the greatly. Could even have nabbed a goal. N'Gog showed good signs, has a decent header on him too. Missed a dire sitter, all down to his lack of confidence on the left peg. Pacheco was very impressive also, showed alot of creativity, but seemed as if he was trying to steal the show here and there, going for a dumb shot, or decline the pass.

Good game overall, as expected against a poor opposition.

The man on BBC Merseyside said he dosen't think Pacheco is any good, and that they'd best sell him :/

Were you in Anfield Road? Because I was part of a Mexican Wave there!

Thought Joe Cole, Jovanovic and Kelly looked particularly pleasing tonight though!
Aww, no, I was in the upper centenery, near the press box, so pretty close to where it happened. Feels odd knowing I seen an FM-Baser oO)

well considering most FM-Basers support Liverpool, it's' not suprising! 8-|

Doesn't anyone else feel embarrassed when a mexican wave starts going round? I mean we're meant to be having a competitive game on LIVE television and we're standing up doing mexian waves?
Er, anyway, good match. Thought N'gog was **** as per usual. Jovanovic looked ace and quite fast when he sprinted to keep the ball in play inthe first half. Not bad.

4-2-3-1 - Lucas on left side, Gerrard on right in central midfield - extra protection for Kelly?

------

Decent performance against a team we should have spanked handily if we'd been a bit more clinical (not a critique of N'Gog or Pacheco - both are young, both got into the right places, the composure will come with time). Thought Kelly stood out of the young lads. Just got u-21 call-up too.

Discipline of Gerrard was very good - but against that team and first match under Hodgson wouldn't expect too much else. We'll see on that one. Joe Cole won't get that much freedom against decent teams.

Some nice interchanges between the front four. Liked a lot, but again poor opposition.

Joe Cole's post-match interview was fun. If anyone could link me to it (Carra's in it too) on youtube or something, that would be brilliant.

"You've played here many times before as a Chelsea player. What was different tonight?"
"I got less stick." :D

And then the bit I want to watch again he's talking about the positive atmosphere and "the new manager, the new.. change". Did he start to say 'owners'? Want to doublecheck :)
You can't keep Carra quiet can you :P, did you see when he butted in :D

Some fans may of thought it was ****, but I though it was a brilliant match to watch. How is N'Gog ****? He is still very young, about as young as Welbeck. You criticise him and call yourself a Liverpool fan. Fans like you make me feel most embarrassed, never getting behind the team but criticising them.

I can see how people would think N'Gog was **** as well if all they seemed to take notice of was his shockingly bad 1-on-1 which he fluffed. If you were paying attention however you would of also noticed how he worked the channels really well, gave us an outlet (not that we needed one), held the ball up when it came to him, won us a penalty with a nice turn, scored a fantastic header, had another header just go wide, and almost set Gerrard up for a tap-in, etc...

Sorry, can't be bothered arguing with you over this stupid ridiculous incident you've raised. If your embarassed of me then maybe next time you can come the match with me, sit next to me, and hear the groans by the many liverpool fans who criticise him. You should've heard the upper centenary when n'gog flopped the one on one.

I'm sorry, but N'gog is *****. Maybe he's good for the future, but as our best fit striker? No.
