I'm delighted Pacheco is starting  I would have a cheeky tug over him but the **** is sore after a week in Magaluf, so I'll just cheer.

3-0

n'gog should have scored. anyone know what formation they are playing. pacheco looks class

N'Gog header makes it 1 - 0 to Liverpool.

Joe Cole assist.

God, N'Gog fluffed that 1 on 1. He redeemed himself a bit later, but still.

Some good passes from Cole, and Pacheco's looking stylish.

Full-time: Liverpool (4) 2 - 0 (0) FK Rabotnicki
N'Gog, Gerrard

Decent performance, pretty much what was expected. As Coleman said Gerrard's passing looked top quality, doesn't matter who we were playing against he was really good. Cole played well, as did Jovanovic, Kelly and Skrtel. Excited for the Arsenal game and hoping for some new owners and more stability at the club now.

I don't think Liverpool were as good as it seems. Any side will look good when given the ball for most of the game. Rabotnicki were atrocious and couldn't hold on to the ball for longer than 3 passes. Liverpool did put some decent passes together and had a few nice moves but the finishing was pretty dreadful, especially N'Gog and Pacheco. I think they'll need Torres or Kuyt if they're to pose Arsenal any threat up front.

It weren't really about a big win. I am pretty sure Pacheco and N'gog will not be in the 11 to play against Arsenal, I reckon Kuyt or Jovanovic will be likely to start up front and with Joe Cole, Steven Gerrard and other players, I don't think we will have that much of a problem without Fernando.

4-2-3-1 - Lucas on left side, Gerrard on right in central midfield - extra protection for Kelly?

------

Decent performance against a team we should have spanked handily if we'd been a bit more clinical (not a critique of N'Gog or Pacheco - both are young, both got into the right places, the composure will come with time). Thought Kelly stood out of the young lads. Just got u-21 call-up too.

Discipline of Gerrard was very good - but against that team and first match under Hodgson wouldn't expect too much else. We'll see on that one. Joe Cole won't get that much freedom against decent teams.

Some nice interchanges between the front four. Liked a lot, but again poor opposition.

Joe Cole's post-match interview was fun. If anyone could link me to it (Carra's in it too) on youtube or something, that would be brilliant.

"You've played here many times before as a Chelsea player. What was different tonight?"
"I got less stick." :D

And then the bit I want to watch again he's talking about the positive atmosphere and "the new manager, the new.. change". Did he start to say 'owners'? Want to doublecheck :)

Just got back, decent performance, no need to try too hard. Cole was fantastic, little flicks, crossing, shooting, brilliant, Jovanovic dosen't half have some great pace, could be a back up striker Imo. Gerrard done well as the playmaker, N'gog could of had a lot more, but I'm not complaining, Kelly looked good, tab disapointed with Pacheco, looked lost out on the wing at times, still thought he played well.
Did anyone hear the booing when Gerrard didn't let Cole take the pen? Xd

What was attendance tonight? Was kicking myself for not leaving myself enough cash to get there tonight on the fly when I saw how empty it was.

£20 tickets, opposition, midweek and boycott seems to have been a horrid combination.
