I thought Gerrard was good today, i think he did a lot off the ball and was unlucky not to score in the first half. I think that's his best position though, next to Masch. Maxi was nowhere to be seen in the second half after some nice touches in the first. Torres' first = Oooft! ;D i'd love to see the possession stats for the first half :L

I said to a mate, Babel probably loves that Riera was a **** and spoke out, cos Babels our only recognised left winger atm, so hopefully he'll get a run in the team (yn) i'd also like to see Aquilani play the Gerrard role. But overall, awesome performance!

Fair play to beachball head post-match for his reaction. My word, we were fantastic in the first-half. That's what a Benitez team is about = just total control of the match with the most wonderful interplay up front. Oh and from the back with Dagger getting bored and deciding he's Matthaus.
