the stream is annoying im gonna wait for zeb to hopefully do a review onit. it'd be better than anything on the bbc website
 
N'gog haha what a finish. Didnt even realise it went in my stream is bad and everyone in the crowd were silent, thought it was side netting or something ha.
 
they look very good Liverpool. N'Gog is playing for his career out there. Wouldn't mind a bet for Liverpool to win the EUROPA this year
 
Spot the difference from how Rafa how would have set that team up.... ;)

Aquilani was going deep a lot, made it almost a 4-3-3 at times. Interesting. Defence was deep but not too many punts down the channels - Lucas did well in calling for the ball and bringing it out of defence (Carra - pass to him now, k?). N'Gog did well leading the line and put in a real shift.

Amoo is raw. Doesn't look quite ready yet. Kelly was very good. Spearing had a very steady game - performance to be proud of in some ways for him.

Not bad. Not great, not exceptional, bit nervy at times, some good moments, some nice possession play. Acceptable.

Seemed to be very much within himself. Was ending up barely five yards from Lucas and Spearing at times which was isolating N'Gog a lot at times. But neat and tidy for the most part. Lay money most match reports will mention the phrase "professional performance" about it. 'Bout summarises it though we were under the cosh a bit until they messed up for first goal (good quick thinking by Lucas, calm head by N'Gog). We settled down after that.

when you say within himself, do you mean nervy, or just very conservative play? glad N'gog got a brace, much maligned young player

Very conservative - end of last season it was all one touch passes into space, tried a couple and then stopped tonight when they didn't come off. But the Valerenga vs Barca friendly was played at a faster pace than that match. Was like a very slow friendly against very ***** opposition once we scored.

Some good performances by the young lads (including Lucas) but we never got out of neutral in the main, never mind getting into first gear. Some of the possession was nice, neat and tidy all the same.

N'Gog's second goal was very well taken. Should give him a real boost. Nice to see the cross coming in from Kelly almost at the byline too.

Did you notice if we used man or zonal marking?
 
totally forgot liverpool were playing tonight, took a nice stroll down the beach insted. but well dont pool sounds like a much deserved victory and n'gog!!!!! is this the start of something!!!!
