I'm thinking of trying to finally get at least into LLM on this game, as much as I enjoy the challenge of trying to do well in the top leagues (I'm not as good as others on here so I'd probably find winning the league with some teams who most would find it easy with). So I wondered if anyone had any tips at all to help me start out.

To quickly give people an idea, as a test I started a game in the bottom division of Romania as a team called Somoii Pancota to get a feel of what it is like and I'm already thinking it is going to be a very hard way to play for.

I looked at their team and noticed they had an abundance of CM's and when you have no transfer budget I thought best to stick with them, so I used a 442 narrow diamond for this test and did notice, the defence is a lot worse than anything I've had to witness before, just players making simple mistakes or just getting caught well out of position...so I wondered if people had any things I should stick to or if it is all similar to the top divisions just with lower attributes on the players? But I imagine roles like Regista/Half Back and other specialist type roles would be seen a little less as these guys aren't going to have the attribute platform to do this.

I don't want to just not give it a good go, but some helpful tips could help me not end up pulling my hair out confused as to what I'm doing wrong.

There's no reason not to give them Regista/Half Back/etc roles if they have the attributes for it.

You're not going to get them playing perfect tiki-taka, but it's not much different from managing clubs higher up. You just have less/no money.

Ah okay, I guess it's just in this league I need to think on their attributes compared to other players in the same division (obviously being used to being in the Championship/Premiership, I'm used to seeing players with attributes mostly in double figures, while in this Romanian league in particular, there are a lot more 8-11 attributes across the player, but that could be similar to a lot of people in this league.

Lower league players rarely have more than one or two attributes in double figures but it doesn't always mean they are **** just limited. It's a case of finding a formation/position where they can make a decent contribution. Also don't be afraid to pitch a skilful youngster in to the team or older players. It is often how you can blend them into a general squad that can determine your team's success.

Exactly. It's all relative.

Well hopefully as a result I'll be able to turn my fortunes around from how I started, didn't realise how useful the pro zone stats can be though after watching a video about them, so going to try using these a lot during games too as it can help you notice who is making the most passes on the oppositions team or maybe who on my side is making the most mistakes during a game which is quite nice to know!
