Loading problems

Hi guys,

New here and after a bit of help if anyone has an answer. ^^)

FM10 was running absolutely perfectly until a couple of days ago. I was managing England (as you do) and accidently removed a couple of players from my National Pool instead of just removing them from the squad. Instead of returning individually to each player and re-adding them to my NP, I cleared the whole NP (about 300-odd players) and then went to Player Search, Only Include Players Eligible To Play For England > Add To National Pool (about 4000-odd players). Obviously the game took about 30 seconds to process this.

However, it has left with a permanent problem. Now, whenever I click onto a team or a player, it takes a good 10-15 seconds to load rather than being instant. It's the same whenever I then go from that player or team to a separate player or team, or even back to my news etc. It's really frustrating waiting 15 seconds between each screen change! I've started new games and even re-installed FM10 through Steam but still I have the same problem...

I have no idea what to try and it's putting me off playing! :S

Well you could clear it again and just add in the players you want

Sorry, i can't help.

I think it just takes up more memory, or something, so the game takes longer to work.
It tried the same thing as you, but I wasn't managing England.

Thanks - I realise it takes up more memory when I did it but I'm not playing that file any more. In fact, I deleted my England save just in case that was having an effect! Even in a new game now it still does the same thing...! :S
