Loan Players

I've done a few saves this year including lower league. Currently doing Man Utd.

I loan out my young stars (aged 18-21) and none ever seem to do any good. Players with huge potential like Fosu-Mensah are averaging 6.2 over a season.

Any tips or ideas?

It doesn't matter if they play well or not. It matters (for development, anyway) that they get first team football at a decent level compared to their ability.

you cant just develop players with no effort you have to play them you have to get the right tutors for them let them have a few stinkers before you get the best out of them dont give up on them.

Every young player always has a tutor and they are having plenty of stinkers, seasons full of them. I also blood youth at every chance. Every past FM it has been my main focus (youth) and I've produced Ballon d'Or winners from youth. In FM16 14 of my 25 man squad were from the youth team (7 years down the track). FM17 just seems to be doing nothing for me.
