Loans, why do i have to pay?

Hi, first off great site, just bought game and registered week ago.

Anyways to the point, played all week as livingston and had np loaning players, now im going Aberdeen, and cant find a way to loan players without being asked for an initial fee.

I realise this is to setup a future transfer, but 1 i have no cash and 2 all i want is to loan them for a season not buy them at any point.

Can anyone help please?

Maybe you're going after better/potentially better players, or because you're a bigger club they expect you to give something back.

Are you finding players who are listed for loan? Normally the players listed for loan are available without a fee.

Yeah all the players im looking at are listed for loan. Im playing as Aberdeen.

some clubs want fees others dont you'll just have to search abit more m8

It's because you're in the top division, if you were in a lower division, you'd be able to get loans for free off English or Scottish clubs. I don't know why you can't in top divisions, a bit of a flaw in the game but if you got some good players on loan for nothing, it would be a bit unfair on your opposition so essentially, it is just FM being realistic.

A way around this is loaning a player for six months and then just renew the loan when its nearly up.Usually dont look for fees when its not for a full season loan

I find it is usually because you went in for the big team players ?
