01/07/15

As the name suggests, the club will relocate from Greater Manchester to the capital city as the Irish consortium believe that the attraction of the big city can maximize the new club's potential.

02/07/15
London Irish confirm widespread press speculation that the club, inspired by Ath.Bilbao's model, will be restricting themselves to Irish-only players and academy schooled players.

Over the next few weeks the club snaps up as many interested Irish players as possible..

After being given special transfer rules to recruit their initial squad, London Irish now find themselves under an embargo until the end of the season.

Interesting this, not many saves I've seen with the create a club mode. All the best for it. Good start!

Nice job(H) ILoveLamp. Can you share your tactic.

Beginning of 2016

-- FA Cup --

We've carried our league form into the FA Cup as we progress through to the sixth round where we only have to beat Chelsea at the Bridge..

A lack of clean sheets is worrying but with not a single centre back above 10 in pace or acceleration it is hardly surprising.

If we can reach the promised land this season I'll to sign the likes of Shane Duffy, Ciaran Clark or Richard Keogh.

Sixth Round - Chelsea (A)

Even 'No knees' Falcao can out run our defenders!

We bow out of the cup but are not disgraced by any means. We will return focus to the league and ensure our lead out the tops results in promotion come May.

The new kids on the block London Irish have remarkably won promotion to the Premier League in their first season in existence following the demise of Bolton Wanderers.

The team of Irishmen are in the promised land but how can they cope in the big league with only players from Ireland available to them? Can they attract the likes of Seamus Coleman, Shane Long or James McCarthy to the club to help them avoid relegation and consolidate themselves in the top flight for years to come?

Time will tell...

We were never going to get the likes of Coleman or Long but we have done some great business, spending £5.5m on the likes of Wilson, McClean and Whelan.

Rather surprisingly Patrick Bamford has declared for Ireland and we've snapped him up at a bargain price.

We had offers for Greg Cunningham (over £7m) and Alan Judge (£5m) but given our limited selection we rejected both straight away
.

Good first season winning promotion with the title, good luck in the PL

Some good results and some disappointments but we are definitely competitive at this level and I think we can begin to look upwards in the table rather than down towards the relegation zone

We've been leaking goals so Duffy (£8m) and Hoban (£14.75m) are probably the best Irish centre backs in the league.

In an ideal world we can get into Europe very soon and target the biggest Irish names in the game.
