Looking for a Defensive Midfielder

Need a very, very, good DMC for my succesfull Man Utd side, I have already got Alex Song who has been decent but I feel like I need a star man in this role. I'm looking for more of an anchorman than a deep lying playmaker. My budget is 20m, thanks in advance.

Annan I've already looked at, he doesn't really look better than Song. Camacho funnily enough I've already got however I wasn't able to give him much game time in the first season because he kept getting long term injuries. His stats have actually gone down and I fear he may never reach his potential. Zuculini I took a look at already, again didn't seem like he could displace Song. Thanks for the suggestions.

Annan and Zuculini have the potential to far exceed Song and become the best defensive midfielders on the game, even if they dont look much good right now.

I gave Camacho as slight alternative as hes more technically gifted and more experienced, but even he can flourish into a world class player given enough games. Ive got him at united on a save in 2015 and hes the best box to box midfielder in the world.

Edit: Ive re-read and realised you werent looking for potential, but a star.

If you want a star man look no further than De Rossi, 20 million might be stretching it though.

I was suprised by song in my game he has been very good keeping veloso out of the team, Annan is good but I like a player with height in DM to win the ball in the air aswel as the ground, I suppose u could look at veloso but I would say mbia

Could you do me a favour and show me a screenie of your Camacho and Zuculini? I really like Camacho but I think he's really been damaged on my save, he only got 4 games and was injured for most of the season.

My scout says De Rossi will cost 43mil :(

Generally more expensive as you go down the list, with the last two more obvious since you want a world class player for your Utd squad, I'm guessing, although you may struggle to get them with 20m. Cristego and Sandro are more for the future. If you get them when they're young you can train them to be very good. I have Sandro in my Blackburn Premiership winning team. Hope that helps.

Gattuso and Pirlo are also good choices, depending in the season you're in of course, I use both with Milan, suporting Kaka and Ronaldo on the wings and they do great.

Eyong Enoh, plays for Ajax.

If you are past first season, look at Andrea Poli. Mirror image of Pirlo, but 19 at the start of the game.

Fernando Gago(Real Madrid), Franco Zuculini(Hoffenheim), Ignacio Camacho(At. Madrid), Lukman Haruna(Monaco) are other choices.
 
Marchisio according to my scout will not want to come, niether would juve let him go for a reasonable price. Poli is more of a deep lying playmaker, I may get Sandro for the future but right now I'm looking towards Palombo... anyone had him before?
 
Gago is a good punt. Also a steal at the start of the game for 5m.
 
A Vidal (first name is arturo or something), he's decent at the start of the game but with good training a few years in he's fantastic. Plays for Leverkusen (subject to your games transfers...)

Aw this is annoying. Who's the best young defensive midfielder? I'll just buy him -.-
Palombo will cost me like 18m he's 28 and is not amazingly better than Song -.-
