Hi everyone,
I know Football Manager 2018 is an old version now, but I'm still playing it and trying to understand the match engine as deeply as possible.
I'm not looking for a plug-and-play tactic. I'm trying to understand how experienced FM18 players approached the game.
Some questions I'd really like to discuss:
Any advice or discussion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Some questions I'd really like to discuss:
- What do you think mattered most in the FM18 match engine?
- Did you usually keep one tactical identity throughout a save, or adapt it a lot?
- Did you use three tactical slots (normal / attacking / defensive), or mostly adjust instructions during matches?
- Looking back now, what do you think most players misunderstood about FM18?
Any advice or discussion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
