First of all, sorry if there's already similar threads on this subject, but I'm looking for a personalised response, so I thought I'd make my own.

Basically, I'm managing Genoa in Serie A and I've started fairly well, sitting in 5th place coming up to January. The problem I have is that I've got the best home record in the league and my away form is down there towards the relegation places.

I've just beaten AC Milan 3-1 on my home patch and my last away result was a 2-0 defeat to Catania... I've tried using counter attack and defensive tactics away from home but nothing seems to be working.

If anyone has any helpful tips or anything that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

i use 4-4-2 rigid, counter, direct, default, man marking, drill crosses, no roaming
set full backs on support, RM/LM wide midfielders attack, ball winning midfielder, box to box midfielder, target man support poacher attack seems to work well for me.
