Ok so every month when I see the finance update where it says if you make a profit or a loss I usually always have a loss and I was wondering what the best way to make a profit is? I figure I have to have sellouts and stuff but not really sure I mean last season I won the League Cup and the FA Cup and made it to the finals of the Champions League as well.

What club are you?
I'm tottenham in 2017 won the league 4 years on the bouce but club loses 8 mil every month, I'm 58 mil in the red at the mo. You need to take into account how much you are spending on wages and how much your club earns and how big the stadium is ect.

Arsenal is my current club and right now I am 96k a week under the wage limit and I have 8m of the 49m left in my transfer budget on my second season.

cut down some unwanted wages (staff as well), sell some players, ask the board to expand the stadium, ask for satellite foreign clubs
just some options, hope it helped :)

Bring wages down by getting rid of 'deadwood', don't carry players your not going to use.
Get as many feeder clubs as possible to 'raise profile in another country'
Sign a big name for merchandising
Use the pre-season scam (Playing loads of friendlies against bigger clubs to get some dosh) - Better for lower clubs
Keep winning trophies, champions league is biggest income
Don't spend on players unless you have to
Expand stadium if possible, more fans = more money
Cut off feeder clubs you don't utilise the link with, unless its a commercial link
Offer lower fee's when signing players

Other than that, remember competition income comes in one chunk at the end of the season, i am often losing money each month but making large profits overall through the season. Loan repayments are my biggest outgoing, but those tips above will help. As for paying the clubs you have as commercial links, you make more through merchandising sales. Signing higher profile players leads to windfalls in shirt sales, just don't pay them too much or you're negating your income.

Sell players with high wages and no use, buy only when needed and shift all money to wages so interest builds up. Arsenal is one of the most secure finance clubs though, what have you done?!

Take into account that you get Money every year for you position in the league which equate to like 70mil. You also get cash per round in the Champions league FA cup and League cup too. This isn't something that shows up on each monthly financial review.
Also take into account that some players get additive bonuses (for Goals, Apperance ect)

And Make sure that you have no loan debt.

How do I get rid of loan debt because Arsenal starts off with something like 280m in loan debt. Also how do I shift all my money to wages so I get interest to build up?

Dude, 58Million in the red isn't good..

You will get upto about 70 mill including tv rights if you win the EPL, but that would include stadium income. FAcup and League cup only bring in nominal amounts, even if you win them, but every little helps.

Thunderstruck has a point about bonuses, keep a close eye on them in contract negotiations, i once ignored them and ended up paying far too much in bonuses.

Loan debt is down to the board, they may restructure the debt in better financial situations, but theres nothing you can do to encourage this.

If you go into boardroom, under Budjet Adjustments (top right section of the screen below the top menu), hit edit budgets, and take the slider to the far left. This well remove your remaining transfer budget and increase your wage budget, and increase interest payments to your club.

Losing 8mil a month? Wth are you doing to the club? rofl
I've managed to get liverpool so they make a few 100K a month.

use FMRTE!!!.

lol -58m pounds is deadly. is the chairman like worried or something

Another tip: Dont assess your finances until the end of each season, aslong as you've got a positive balance all is well

I know but I will make it up at the end of the season. The clubs stadium is tiny don't earn enough money, to keep world class players. But without them the league and champions league wouldn't be won lol.

A program that lets you edit aspects of a savegame ... basically a cheat

I only bought Falcao on a monthly installment transfer although it was 10m over 48 months.

I don't know how you managed to get so much debt, but one of my theories is that you suck at contract negotiations...
