Low attendance

I've been playing with Vimmerby (local swedish club) in FM14 and had a lot of success, but I can't increase my attendance to a normal top flight level. I was expecting to have at least 3-4k at my home games when I reached Allsvenskan. That's what the clubs from less populated cities who reach Allsvenskan usually average, compared to 12-20000 for the top clubs from Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. Is there anything I can do? Or should I just leave the club? Winning the league this year was a miracle, but there's no way for me to build on it. I have no money and I haven't had any since I reached Superettan (second division) mainly because of the low average attendance at my home games. The club isn't making any money.

I think you can increase attendance by bringing in very reputable players and playing "attractive" soccer (not parking the bus defensive style).

Also make sure your stadium can hold more people than what you are getting, i'm sure you can though, but just to be sure.
