Just look compare these two, 1 with PA 140 and the other 158. I am sure Lasoggo can make it at Man Utd as backup or even first team. What do you say guys?

Others on my list are toloi, Jelle Vossen, Bruno Gama, Royston Drenthe, Josue, Hemed...

It's all down to stats in the end. High CA doesn't mean player will play good. Lot of CA goes away on weaker foot (1.5 CA per level), which is staggering 30CA if he has 20 weaker foot. Imagine how good player with 190CA and 1 weaker foot would look? Well, go to editor and edit Nani's weaker foot. Then load new game and see his stats. Did you ever wonder why some players never got 'either' for their feet? Well, this is why. Take Ronaldo for example. He has very good left foot and he deserves at least 15 or 16 weaker foot. But that means with current stats, his CA would go probably over 200. Anyway, that can be the factor that keeps those 'low potential' players good players. Their stats. Not CA alone.

So, Messi as worst feet than Ronaldo, that is, the sum of both, right? Now, Messi has high PA than Ronaldo, but that does not mean he is better, because the other one don't need to "spend" CA to improve that feet?

Does the PPM " don't use weaker foot" help to not waste CA?

Actually, if we only use 'effective' CA which is 'spent' on attributes only, Messi is better than Ronaldo. You got the idea right, higher CA doesn't necessarily means better player. You can argue who's better on FM. I'm not big fan of a high weaker foot, because it takes a lot of CA which can be used to increase attributes.

No. Only weaker foot and attributes consume CA. Nothing else.

Oh, my bad. Anyway SI introduced option to train weaker foot this year. I noticed it can get down when players get older. I have somewhere pic of Benzema..

And Benzema has Either foot at the beginning of any (default) save.

But, to continue... Even though you don't use training on weaker foot, level of weaker foot still consumes CA. So let's say Messi has 10 ( I think he has 10 wf) for weaker foot. That means he's 'spending' 15 of his 197CA on his right foot. Ronaldo has 14 ( again, not sure) and that's 17CA out of his 193CA.

Thanks for this. But i need more info :D

1st, how did you get this knowledge?

2nd, how is CA distributed by attributes and how it could be distributed by the difference between CA and PA?

Thanks

1) Experiment. Also having a lot of connection with some guys at SI help :P But experiment mainly. When I first started my 'FM' life, it was with FM10 ( whoa!, I know) and FM Base was actually first forum I've register on. So I started to learn some stuff from some guys and in maybe half a year I learned everything I could from here. And then FM11 came. That was the game I played the most and I learned many things. Playing with editor helps a lot and it's good base to get the 'feeling' how FM really works. This year was amazing breakthrough with SI's official editor, which finally allowed me to accurately measure how certain stats react if you increase or decrease them and their influence on players CA and PA. It's still a bit of a gray zone, but I'm sure I'll figure it out.

2) Attributes have 4 different categories. 3 of them are for outfield players and you have forth for GKs. (Mental, Technical, Physical and GK stuff). Every one of them takes different amount of CA to increase one stats by some level. Physical stats are most 'expensive' for most outfield players. Technical attributes are cheap (bar heading attribute when we talk about defenders, CB's to be accurate) and change from 1 to 20 in long shot takes maybe 3 or 4 CA. Mental are in the middle.
And then you have key attributes for each position (like I mentioned, changing heading on CB is rather expensive). Pace and Acceleration take the most CA space. Slow players will probably be more technical gifted ( Does anyone remebers Alex from Fm13? He had amazing all round attributes bar his physical stuff with something around 155CA).
For the second part of your question, I'm not sure what you mean.
