I decided that i needed to 'spice' things up so i am going to do an international save with a low ( ranked <175 ) international team...

does anyone have any tips on how to be as successful as possible, both short and long term, both with results and in building for the future?

thank you

Make sure whatever team you decide to be you load the leagues from that country and the surrounding area's to make sure you can get new players in!

and make sure you remember to load all players of that nationality and based in that nation at the beginning of the game, especially if their league isn't playable, but it's a good idea anyway as it broadens the national pool. It might not add any quality but the extra quantity could help stop you having a situation where you've only got 4 keepers to choose from adn 2 of them are injured like I once had with a Ivory coast youth side.

just pick your best players, don't give youngsters a chance if they aren't good enough
