Lower Leagues

Is anyone else playing with a lower league team, or just a team with a small budget? (Small means <300k, no "I've only got 6m, I can't afford Kaka" based comments).

If so, who have you found in the bargain bin who can do the goods?

So far, my best captures are Robbie Fowler and Dean Windass, who cost me a grand total of 30k.

Sam Hewson on Loan from Man Utd Played Well.

Currently 24 Games in 9 points clear....with Bradford City FC

Fredrik Ljungberg at Seattle for 26k and he plays very well 31 years old perfect for league 1 clubs

Saving money at Aldershot's always a good idea... unlike their old fourth division side who went bankrupt back in 92.

as Hartlepool i only had 83k to play with at the start of the season and not a great reputation as a club, the better players i managed to grab a hold of were;

- Brandon Bonifcio - MC - 19yo - 30k from SC Cambuur
- Taner Taktak - AML/C - 18yo - 16k from Fortuna Sittard
- Cristian Njunez - DMC/MC - 20yo - 5k from Montreal
- Jeremy Bokila - AML/R - 19yo - Free
- Paulo Sousa - DMC/MC - 27yo - Free

i ws also able to sign.
Adrian Serioux (29yo DC/DR) & Gabe Gala (19yo WBL/AML) on free's but due to the fact the play in the MSL they can join untill 1.12.2008

Nemeth and Pacheco both on loan from Liverpool - tearing up the league for Crewe at the moment - Nemeth has the potential to be class .

Ivan Nofuentes(Free Agent) is good for any League 2 Clubs and below.
Might do a job in league one aswell.

And I am playing as Luton - so truly and utterly poor. But I made it to 4th! Even with -30. Now for the playoffs...

Must feel how Big Mick feels.

Managed to get in Lansbury on loan from Arsenal, Gilbert from Sheff Weds as Left Back, and Saah from Orient at CB. Also got Fowler and some other Argentinian CB joining in Jan.

Parkin, Watson, Roper and McVeigh have all gone.
