Blyth are left without a manager

Tommy Cassidy resigns from the Spartans
Blyth Spartans manager Tommy Cassidy has cut short his reign over the Northumberland club as he seems to be edging towards a contreversial move to thier local rivals Gateshead. This leaves Blyth preparing for the upcoming season looking for a new boss, in a campaign which sees them looking to stamp their authority in and around the top 10. There is undoubtably an air of dissapointment within the Blyth fanbase but also a great deal of respect and appreciation for their former boss.
Currently assistent manager Gavin Fell is in charge of the club but he is looking to make the role a more perminant one.
