Haha great stuff mate a couple of good signings in January could give you promotion. Not sure what areas you need but try, Michael Eneramo-ST(FC Tunis), Alex Pearce-CB(Reading) and look at some loan targets :D

Cheers mate and yeah, Insua has been a good signing but I'm starting to be ravaged by injury again. Welbeck, ***, Miller, all strikers that are out, December update to follow and then I'll be into January and signing some people :)

---------- Post added at 02:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:55 PM ----------

Is this a bug or something, I've got EIGHT, you counted them right EIGHT Strikers Injured, And Two defenders injured.. Is this a bug or just real bad luck? It's making me look like a **** manager. Luckily January is very close and I have a decent budget to sign people in.

Full December Update To Follow!

---------- Post added at 02:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:13 PM ----------

December Summary

I'm not going to lie, this was the worse month of my managerial career in any game I have ever played; an absolute horror month. We took four points for a possible sixteen. However, I do have a slight excuse seeing as ten of my players were injured, including Eight strikers. In the end I reverted to using Prosenik up front by himself. Also with Leon Barnett and Emiliano Insua injured. I had no chance. I'm not going to make excuses though and that's football. I'm going to knuckle down in the next month and get some good results and get some good signings in and push for the top of the table. It's going to hard but nothing is impossible..

5th December 2009
Derby 3 - 2 WEST BROM
'Welbeck, Morrsion'
*We were actually unlucky in this game, Welbeck and Moore were linking up and we went in front but yet again; we couldn't hold them off for long enough.

8th December 2009
WEST BROM 1 - 2 Cardiff
'Welbeck'
*We lost at home to Cardiff and it was a pretty bad performance, Welbeck again netting, he was turning out a useful signing.

12th December 2009
WEST BROM 2 - 3 QPR
'Merida, Welbeck'
*Merida again hitting the back of the net and Welbeck also carrying on his rich vain of form but the defence didn't do they're job as they condeded three against struggling QPR. Welbeck was injured in this match which carried him till the end of the his loan spell.

19th December 2009
Blackpool 1 - 2 WEST BROM
'Morrison (2)'
*First points of the month and James Morrison; the attacking midfielder, was the main man in this. He hit the back of the net twice and sent the fans into raptures. Luke Moore got injured in this for a few weeks.

26th December 2009
WEST BROM 0 - 3 Peterborough
'N/A'
*Depleted squad, depleted morale and you could say Depleted performance, it was poor from the home side as they fell at they're knees to Peterborough.

28th December 2009
Scunthorpe 1 - 1 WEST BROM
'Prosenik'

*Prosenik became the youngest ever West Brom scorer at 16 years and 304 days! However, The Baggies couldn't hold them off and Scunthorpe equalised.

Also This Month!
-- Danny Welbeck's loan finished!

January Update Coming Soon!

-- ISHMAEL MILLER FULLY FIT!
The West Bromwich Albion striker is finnally fully fit after recovering from a long-term injury. The Striker is set too start up front alongside Prosenik against Lincoin in the FA Cup! Luca Fabina had this to say:

"Ishmael is a good lad and an extremely talented centre forward, I'm so glad I've got him back especially after all the other strikers injuries, hopefully he can push on and perhaps this month we get a few more strikers back, heres to him banging them in!"

Mr. Miller has said he will release a comment after Saturday's FA Cup clash against Lincoin!

--BRUNT & INSUA RETURN TO FULL TRAINING!

Insua's loan is about to finish but Luca Fabina has put in another loan offer to keep him at the club.

January Summary

Transfers (In):
Fabio Borini From Chelsea (1.5M)
*A young fiery talent from WBA's parent club chelsea. The italian is said to have had a very good friendship with the manager Mr. Fabina. Borini is the perfect man to fill in Bendar's place. The 18-year-old is yet to score his first goal.

Carl Cort From Brentfoord (Free)
*Carl Cort, an experienced, powerful central forward. It is reported when he saw Carl was not at a club, Luca quickly snapped him up to add him to the squad for no fee from Brentford.

Iker Muniain From Athletic (650k)
*Muniain, a quick spanish attacking midfielder/striker. This man was at a bargain price of 650k. I don't understnad how anyone can justify selling such a talented player for a miniscule price.

Darron Gibson From Man Utd. (Loan)
*A classy Manchester United player, Mr. Fabina thought that Gibson could help him and his team earn promotion and has started every game since. The central midfielder currently partners Leigertwood in the centre of the park.

Kyle Naughton From Tott'ham (Loan)
*Kyle Naughton fromTottenham reserves was given the thumbs up by Olsson for coming to the club. He said that's exactly what his new team-mate needs, first team football and with the quality Kyle obviously possesses he is going to get it at WBA.
Miles Addison From Derby (4M)
*Mile Addison, A solid centre half, an old school centre half. No messing about, just getting it clear and making sure his team stay at the top. He and Olsson will no doubt play together in the centre of the defence and he will surely be ask questions of by Leon Barnett and Meite.

Maceo Rigters From B'Burn (1.3M)
*Blackburn Reserves right attackive midfielder, Maceo Rigters. Mr. Fabina has been left short in this area due to injuries and I guess Rigters can come in and prove his worthiness. A true attackive midfielder.
Juan Pablo Angel From Olymp' (500K)
*Former Aston Villa Legend and Colombian Hitman, Juan Pablo Angel signs for West Brom. Most West Brom fans would say this is the biggest signing they've made in years and are really happy with JPA. He is a true leader and surely he will help the younger guys, a classic striker for a ridiculously small price. Good signing.

Transfers (Out):
Gianni Zuiverloon To Lyon (3.4M)
*We sold Zuiverloon purely for the money, we obviously loved him having him as our player but we needed to strengthen in other areas of the team!

Roman Bednar To Kobenhavn FC (2.6M)
*Roman wasn't working out too well, not scoring alot and with 5+ other strikers in the squad, we didn't think he'd get a game and sold him.

James Morrison To Villa (3.9M)
*Aston Villa offered 3,900,00 for James Morrison, Luca Fabina could not refuse. It was a perfect offer for him and he knew he had other options in that area of the pitch and thought it would be better in the long run for him and the club to sell him to Villa.
Reuben Reid To Harlepool (Loan)
*West Brom wanted Reuben to get some first team action and sending him to Hartlepool was the perfect solution to get him some games under his belt.

Results:

2nd January 2009
FA CUP THIRD ROUND.
WEST BROM 3 - 0 Lincoln
'Miller, Leigertwood, Olsson'
*A great result to get them back on track and Ishmael Miller plays his first ever game under Luca Fabina. Netting insdide 10 minutes to put the home side in front. Ishmael is like as good as, if not better than a new signing to have him back. Miller said:

"I am so glad to be back, I have missed football so much, it's been driving me crazy. I've been playing Fifa 10 all the time just to feel like I'm playing again, I make WBA win the Championship and then the Premier Leauge, let's hope it will happen in real life. However, I don't think we'll be able to sign Lionel Messi and Ronaldo in the first season!"

9th January 2009
WEST BROM 1 - 1 Nott'm Forest
'Korren'

*A good result coming up against a strong Nottingham Forest side. At the time they were on a four game win streak and in second place in the Coca-Cola Championship. A draw with them got us back on course and we began to rebuild again.

16th January 2009
Newcastle 3 - 1 WEST BROM

'Miller'
*On this day we did not play to badly, however they got the goals and we just couldn't match them, Ishmael Milelr got a goal though and got back on form. We now hope he can carry on scoring, this is the only loss in this month!

23rd January 2009
FA CUP FOURTH ROUND.
WEST BROM 2 - 0 Derby
'Slory, Muniain'

*This match was in the FA Cup fourth round! We cruised through infront of our home crowd as Andwele Slory & Muniain scored the goals!

26th January 2009
Ipswitch 0 - 2 WEST BROM
'Miller, Moore'

*Moore came back today partenering Slory but Slory was slightly injured and was removed and on came Miller and he finished the game off in extra time with his first and last touch!

30th January 2009
WEST BROM 1 - 1 Sheff' Utd.
'Bunn O.G.'
*A one all draw here, better for West Brom than it was for Sheffield Utd. West Brom took on 2nd placed Sheffield and held them back and ended up getting a well deserved draw against them, they would have hoped for more but this rounds off a decent month for West Brom!

FEBRUARY UPDATE V. SOON!

Angél And Moore Re-United.

Luke Moore and Juan Pablo Angel have been re-united at The Hawthores following they're Aston Villa careers together. The two men used to partner each other up front for the Villains and now the two will partner each other upfront for the Baggies. Luke Moore had this to say on hearing about the signing:

"Juan is definately the most professional and comical guy I have ever been in a dressing room with and although that will upset Barnett it's true. (Luke laughs and smiles.) I am so glad that Juan has come to this club, he can help it forward and if it be the case that I and Juan become a partnership up-front. I relish it. Speculation that I was unhappy at this club is nonsense and I'm just itching to start scoring goals again."

Juan Pablo Angél is supposedly going to start up front with Moore against Plymouth, lets see how they get on!

OOOh not as good as I thought you would do mate o be honest. Hopefully you can improve in the latter stages and grab a late playoff place. :)

February Summary

With almost all of my strikers coming back to full fitness we were on firing form, taking 10 points from a possible 15. Luke Moore again was on form and in full fitness netting 6 goals in 7 games including a late equaliser agaisnt Liverpool in the FA Cup. We forced Liverpool to a replay at WBA but unfortunately we got knocked out at Hawthornes but that means we can concentrate on the league now with seven games next month and a possible 21 points up for grabs!

Current Tactic:

2q9ev40.jpg

Results:

6th February 2010
Plymouth 0 - WEST BROM
'N/A'

*This match we should have won but unfortunately for us, they're goalkeeper was in outstanding form. We couldn't get it past him, but we had a good performance and Angél & Luke Moore had a strike partnership once again!
9th February 2010
WEST BROM 4 - 0 Scunthorpe.
'Moore (3), Leigertwood'
*A Magnificant Result even though Scunthorpe aren't that high in the league, yet again Luke Moore show's how decisive he is infront of goal and if he carries on like this, you can see him being targeted by bigger clubs. A tremendous victory!

13th February 2010
FA CUP FIFTH ROUND
Liverpool 1 - 1 WEST BROM
'Moore'
*A Fantastic result for everyone at or affiliated with the club, an early liverpool effort wiped out by a late equaliser through Luke Moore! Again, the striker shows he can do it at the top level!

wbrzeq.jpg

16th February 2010
Cardiff 2 - 1 WEST BROM
'Moore'
*Our only off-day this month and unfortunately it cost us but Luke Moore was again good and the rest of the squad put a decent half-heated performance in.

20th February 2010
Bristol City 0 - 1 WEST BROM
'Angél'
*First goal for January Transfer Jaun Pablo Angel, the substitute came on and sent The Baggies Fan's into raptures, after he had scored, he kissed the camera and celebrated with Luke Moore!

24th February 2010
FA CUP FIFTH ROUND REPLAY
WEST BROM 1 - 2 Liverpool
'Slory'
*A great occassion for all West Brom fans, young and old alike but it was not to be as Ryan Babel was on dazzling form netting one early in the first half, only to be ruled out by Andwélé Slory but then in the second half he netted again, Kyle Naughton couldn't live with him.

27th February 2010
WEST BROM 1 - 0 Derby
'Moore'

*Something we haven't been to good at so far this season, grinding results out. A goal from Moore in the first half put the home side ahead and they threatened to extend they're lead but it wasn't too be. They're defence we're solid and now they march on into March.

Position; 10th.

Me neither mate but it's them flippin' injury problems mid-season. No excuses though, that's football (management games) for you! :P

I'm liking this story and I still think you can get promotion! One of the best set out stories as well

If you try and make it more interesting more people will follow, e.g. some people can't be bothered to read 100's of pages of writing, you know what I am saying?

Good Luck
