Simple question as stated in the title.

If you could give a reason for your opinion too, that'd be great!

Luke Shaw, younger and turns out better in my opinion. Both are expensive so can't really take money into account too much

For now - Sandro, for the future - Shaw.

ben davis is far far behind shaw or sandro.

I would go with shaw. Sandro takes time to settle (assuming you are playing in england) and doesnt have the upside that luke shaw has. But, shaw can be veyr expensive, ive had to pay 30 million pounds for him in some saves, and i cant unsettle him enough to get him to ask for a transfer, alex sandro on the other hand will be much cheaper.

Alex Sandro is great if you want a player to make an instant impact. Shaw for me takes a ccouple of years to mature depending what age you grab him at

This is live so I've just made my decision and bought someone.

Sandro was my first choice but I went for Shaw in the end because Porto was being unreasonable about Sandro's price.

Considered Davies because I've heard many reviews and people say that he's very consistent.

And Shaw is 19 right now in my save.

What if we ADD Jonathan Silva? Who would turn out the better player then?

Silva and Shaw are different players. Shaw/Alex Sandro are excellent as attackers (CWB/WB). Silva is excellent as a defender(FB)

Alex Sandro no doubt. Both are young DL's and both develop great. But right from start Alex Sandro is better and he will stay that the rest of the game. Shaw won't be ever as good as Sandro. And I can tell I have several +5 season saves. And Sandro always turns out to be one of the best DL's of the world.

Shaw won't be ever as good as Sandro.

Actually, no. I've managed both Sandro and Shaw on one save, and while Sandro is outstanding in the beginning, Shaw soon catches up around 3-4 seasons up, and most times, beats Sandro. Over several saves too;;

But yeah, there is no doubt both are fantastic, heck, Sandro set the PL record for assists in one season for Soton for me.

Would Shaw need tutoring ? I have Evra who wants to leave but I have plans to make him tutor Shaw. Without tutoring, how much of an effect would it have on Shaw ?

take sandro now you still can. Shaw is no where near worth getting believe me. dont be that stupid :) Tutoring will only have an effect when the tutor and shaw in this case have the right mental stats and "hidden stats". In the end from experience Evra is a decent tutor so it might work out positive. But I stand with what I said before: Alex Sandro will be world class (presuming your United) You will love Alex Sandro he develops lightning fast. And will be much better then shaw.

It's not just A.I managing, Sandro has played for me too. I reiterate what I said, Sandro is an EXCELLENT option, but Shaw will overtake him ingame.

I am very surprised that Shaw is still at Southampton in your save.

I generally tend to develop the club I'm at, rather than try to make quick profits. I've had tons of offers from clubs for Shaw, Ward-Prowse, Wanyama, Schneiderlin and the like. Turned them down each time. I managed to make Soton the biggest club, overtaking Barca in that list.
