MAGIC IN THE MESTALLA

Welcome to my first save on FM Base

Valencia Club De Futbol were formed in 1919 and have been on a recent decline in the past few seasons. They did manage to win the Copa Del Rey in 2019, however most of their triumphs came in the 1940’s and early 2000’s as far as domestic trophies are concerned, last winning La Liga in 2004, which was joined along with the then UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup being the major highlight of their history. Twice being runners-up of the UEFA Champions League in 2000 and 2001 also.

The board have laid out their 5 year plan, which I truly believe will be highly attainable with the squad we have and can build going forward.

This year being tasked on recording​

1. Top-Half Finish in La Liga​
2. Reaching Latter Stages of the Copa del Rey​
3. Be Competitive in the Supercopa​

We hope to make the 55,000 seater Mestalla the home of Valencia CF our fortress and a hostile environment for opposing sides to come to and also make full use of our excellent youth facilities.

MEET THE SQUAD

As a manager I always look to play an attacking 4-3-2-1 gegenpress, just the way I love football to be played. With this squad at my disposal I believe we have the ability to portray this on the field.
