Hi. Been wanting to set myself a new challenge preferably in another continent. Not Brazil, Argentina any of them. I thought of The MLS and the A-League. Anyone played on either of these leagues? Are they playable and what one would you recommend. Oh and what team should I go?

Galaxy in the MLS with Beckham, Donovan & Xavier. But there leagues are weird as its split into North & South etc... And a team can play about 15 games whilst the other has only played 5.

Nah dont want to go Galaxy want to go a less well-known team. Someone like Chicago Fire or Kansas City and in Australia someone like Adelaide or CC Mariners?

MLS would be the biggest challenge as its so different from any other league, although the A league also has soem strange rules.

i have tried america a few times and where whole set up and system ****** me off after a bit and i didnt last more than a season and a half. But it depends on how long you fancy playing it

Kansas City Wizards have Carlo Marinelli haha! He was supposed to be the next Maradona when we had him at boro! He was ****.

the a league only allows 4 subs which is annoying. also as there are only 8 teams (and no smaller teams compete in the cup either) the teams play each other 3 times in the league, rather repetitive!!!!

also the a leagues limit on foreign players gets annoying as its very difficult to find any decent aussie players willing to come back from europe until they are older. also players cannot be bought and sold or loaned between a-league clubs so your transfer options are limited to:

free transfers. loans from outside ausralia, end of contract agreements, or a regular transfer from outside of australia.

all of the time stikcing to the no foreigner rule which i think is no more than 3 foreigners named in the squad u selelct at the start of the season.

MLS certainly has some bettter talent and is arguably more prestiguos but is far to confusing for me, drafts, transfers using draft picks (ie i'll have our player and in exchange i wont give you money, i'll give you my 3rd pick in next seasons draft... yawn)

i would say go for Queensland Roar as they have some of the best young attacking talent in the league. (and ex-newcastle craig moore at the back)

Hello everybody. Haven't been on in a while. PICK THE A-LEAGUE AND PICK MELBOURNE VICTORY.

For anybody that doesn't know Melbourne Victory are playing Adelaide United tomorrow for the championship. A sellout crown at the Telstra Dome (55,000 +) are set to watch Melbourne win their second championship. Can't ******* wait. Not sure how much coverage anyone gets around the world but it will be a fantastic game for anyone who wants to tune in.

Back on topic: I am a bit biased but I would have to say the A-league is a far better competition than the MLS. It is a competition growing all the time. 2 new teams are being introduced next season and 2 more te season after that and the season after that. Most of you guys from England probally know that Robbie Fowler is joining North Queensland FC next year.

Soon Football will be the most popular sport in Australia and will be helped if we get the World Cup in 2018 or 2022.

PS. Watch the game tomorrow :) :) :)

nahhhhh queensland roar all the way!!!!!! zullo, kruse, minniecon, de vere, bevan all have bright futures. also craig moore is ther as i mentioned before, but also danny tiatto lololol i thought he packed up a long time ago!!

If you want a challenge, try "Platense" in Argentinian second division, and try to win the first division and then the "Copa Libertadores"

MLS because thats where all the big names will go
Beckham has already commited
I can see rooney and ronaldo going there to finish there career
