Hey,

Im Man City and im looking for a quality centre back, but preferably young/wonderkid. already got sakho and micah richards but looking for another back up as ive sold lescott and toure is injured.

Nevan Subotic from Dortmund.

Tall and always gets over a 7.0 rating for me
 
Chilleini. Though having any of these as a backup will mean they'll start complaining about lack of first team football. In my man city team I used danny wilson as a backup, does the job well.

No mentions for Badstuber? Great player at the World Cup and has very strong stats in FM10, buy him early when he's cheap. He's my third choice behind Pique/Fazio, although Chygrynskiy is actually a lot better in FM than he has been in La Liga this season with him having the combination of being young, strong mental and physical stats plus better distrubution than a lot of defenders, though hard to buy considering how recently he's signed for Barca. Can definitely see him being toned down for FM11 considering he flopped and went back to his old club, costing the team around 1 million Euros an app.
 
Ive 10 years in and ive got, Darnel Situ, Mamadou Sakho, and Dirk Marcellis all still performing very well, also near both Bruno Alves and Filipe Mexes perform well for a couple a years but high age plus high transfer fee :/

Situ turns into a beast of a defender :D as well as Dirk, normally retrain him to Rb though :D
 
Yeah I have both of them two as back-up for Sakho, and a regen. yeah dirk does play well at RB when required
 
Philippe Mexes is also a very good central defender. He's not a young player but a very reliable one. I bought him a lot in fm09 and he is still very good in fm10
 
awesome, im going to scout most of these players, what do you think to marcelo left back? and thinking about getting maicon for right back, got alot of money to spend.
 
Neither have done it for me, Maicon & Marcelo.... Always had Johnson at RB as for LB, Dodo, Jose Angel and Insua all do quite well

A good right back is Serge Aurier. turns out to be very good and very young.He plays for Lens.Or try Adam Mathews from cardiff
