Man United 4-2-3-1 help

Using 4-2-3-1 with man utd wanna know whats the best tactics 2 use that get best out of rooney and what roles 4 2 midfilders
 
I was using a 4231 with United earlier. I made a very successful one that I uploaded last year, but this year it seems much harder. I had the most success with RVP as a DLF and Rooney as an Enganche at AMC. In that role, he racked up about 10 assists in 8 games.
 
Deep 4231, 424 or a 4141 seem to be the more popular formations so far. That being said I've stuck with my 4231 from 13 and had no issues with it, defence is a little leaky but it's nice football to watch and I still win games.

See Ive been trying to make a consistant 4-2-3-1 but it seems that Ill do really well but once the pressure is put on me it just crumbles under it. I feel like i will have more success with a deep one but I dont like that formation nearly as much
 
4-2-3-1 tactic does work. I'll post SS of one I made.

I've been using 4-2-3-1 and I won every competition I entered with Man U although my tactic is based solely around my current Man United players as I used player instructions on nearly all players. Only part of my tactic I am struggling on is trying to get best out of Rooney in the AMC role. I've uploaded some screenshots to show everyone that you can create a good tactic using 4-2-3-1 this year.

Surprisingly I dont I only had about 3 or 4 all season to be honest.

Just a little tip when I play Kagawa AML I have a pre set instruction so he is an advanced playmaker on attack duty and I make him sit narrower, pass it shorter and tackle harder he created a lot of goals for me there.

And as you can see from my previous screenshots Rooney finished with an average rating of 7.52 but only scored 10 all season so if u find a way to make him score more from there let me know.
