i havent played on football manager in months because of school and stuff so i thought to get back into i will be man utd.

So would this be a good way to start the game

Buy a new right back
Sell Either Berbatov or Tevez and put Ronaldo up front with Rooney

Then buy a new Winger like David silva.
And play in a 4-4-2 Diamound Formation

Would this work???

i'm pretty confident that it will. however try to sell berbatov and not tevez, iv'e played against tevez and he's a real pain. walcott / vela may be a nice signing if not david silva

To be honest it will be hard selling Berbatov in the first season, usually no one will buy players who have been at a club for such a short period. But then again I kept Berba for my first season and he was pretty poor.

The only reason to buy a winger would be if you where to play Ronaldo up top like you have said, although Tosic and Nani are more than enough. I'd buy some younger wingers to train up, Fleck and also give experienceFabio on the wide left.

As for a right back, I wouldn't bother. I used Brown and Neville first season, also giving Rafael 14 games in the League. I also trained J.Evans to play right back. In my second season he shares duties with Brown, whilst again using Rafael now and then for experience.

I personally play a sort of 4-5-1.

Cheers guys i ended up buying Glen Johnston from Pompy for 6 mil and bought Juan Roman Riquelme for 12 mil from Boca

since i have some players injured like ronaldo and edwin van da sar

Cheers for the advice but it riquelme is playing some amazing football been getting around 8s for his proformance and johnston has been solid as well.

Beat hull 2-0 i have 100% record from 3 games probbley change of luck soon tough with Zenit in super cup????
