Managing a team using a REAL player

If there is a thread on this type i could not find it so sorry.

My question is this:

"is it possible to be a REAL player on here? For example i want to be Teddy Sheringham. Do i have to just create a profile with his name, or can you actually be a real player?"

Ive got a feeling you cant and have to create a profile using their name etc.

You have to create a manager for it as you would normally, I've done it loads of times, get a good pick of them and edit things like international caps/goals and favourites using an in-game editor like FMRTE

You can't take over someone elses profile. But there's nothing stopping you creating yourself as someone else.
