Managing Countries?

Hi, I want to manage Australia but the only 2 countries I have encountered are Portugal and England, and both didn't want me. I am playing as Wolfsburg, German nationality, Regional Reputation, 184 manager points and I finished 2nd in the Bundesliga last year. How do i manage a country, and how do I manage Australia?

Keep an eye on the current manager's job security. If it looks like he may be sacked, or he is sacked apply for the job. Regional repuation might hold you back for now though...

No. Having bad results will decide who gets sacked.

Do you want to manage Wolfsburg and Australia? Or just Australia?
If you want to manage just Australia set the database(under preferences on the main menu) to December 2010 and apply to be the manager of Wales and win the european championship or world cup, then you can manage any nation from the beggining.

Well, first there is the question: Do you have Australian nationality, because that improves your chance to be the manager

improve ur reputation; ie win the champs league every season with wolfburg, then see if any asian jobs, mainly malyasia, China, S.Korea, or countries around the pacific, have a vacant spot for management, then which ever Asian team it is, win the AFC, or (hopefully) World cup, then see if Australia is vacant, and apply for it.

Yeah... having the same nationality as the country has a improves your chances. I'm Canadian and applied for England, with Continental Rep, 3rd in Manager Rank, and didn't get it. So if you want to manage a country, try getting a different nationality.

i make my canadian status second, and english first. that way it was easier of the Fa to get me.

You can either download the preferences from FMHVibe which has all unlockables or pick a top club and wait until after Euro 2012 when manager jobs become free.

i usually find that if i'm in the german league and the german manager gets sacked if i apply for the job i will usually get it, however if the england manager gets sacked i do not usually get the job

my advice is to quit your current game, go int the australian league and wait until the australian manager retires or gets sacked and then apply
