Manchester United 1st season help

I've just started a new save with Manchester United on the 12.2 update and my aim is to build a brand new squad with the exception of Rooney, de Gea, Scholes and Berbatov. Any suggestions on who to sign? I will keep some other players but they're the main priority to keep for me.

Gylfi Sigurosson would be a good shout, or Lucas Moura for young attacking mids
 
I'm looking for a few young players, but more players around the age of 24, or youngsters who have proved themselves in the Prem. PSG are in talks with Evra and I'm chasing Baines.
 
fair enough, I don't really like Evra so fair play. Baines is a good player. Make sure you give Welbeck a chance if your looking at english Talent.
 
Yes, Evra has now been sold and I should be completing the Baines deal in the next few days on the game. I know what Welbeck can do and he will be part of my first-team plans. I am also after Jan Vertohagen as I've heard some good reports about him :)
 
Not sure you should build around Scholes and Berbatov. Paul's attributes decrease alarmingly fast and he requires alot of rest. Dimitar is way too inconsistent on the game too, plus he's on high wages, so I'd get rid of him if I was you.

You should definitely keep the trio of wingers, Nani is of course a dangerous player, while Valencia & Young are assist machines. Keep the Da Silvas, Jones, Smalling, Cleverley and Welbeck, they all turn out great. In the academy & reserves, if you train & use them correctly, Tunnicliffe, Pogba, Will Keane and Januzaj can turn out well.

My advice would be just make one big name signing for the midfield, M'Vila for example.
 
OK thanks manuroe, I was considering keeping Nani but want to get rid of Valencia and get Hazard in, however that could be out of my hands if I use my budget earlier and get some other key players in. I am probably going to get rid of Berbatov after the look of Hernandez's form in pre-season, may get another striker in, I'm considering Bent and Defoe as good options, I might also chip in and go and get someone like Cavani if I have the money.

I'm going to loan out Cleverley and Smalling to PL clubs for the first season to see how they do, then decide at the dn on the season, I am in talks with Seydou Keita and he'd be a great signing at just £2.5m.

I'm going to be loaning Tunnicliffe, Pogba, Keane and all them out to League 1/2 sides for experience, I know that Will Keane can turn into a great player, I may also consider keeping Owen and playing him now and again.

As I say, I'm in talks with Keita but will probably loan Cleverley out and then that will leave space to sign another CM, however I'm keen on Fellani and Rodwell.

Have a look at my screenshots i posted mate think you will be inpressed! Felliani is good but when i signed rodwell in past saves he never develops that good.
 
Can you tell me there goalscoring records please? Also who else did you sign? I cba to look at the screenshots, I need a RB really.
 
I signed corchia as right back one of the best young RB on the game, so far i signed corchia,baines,papadopoulos,inigo martinez,javi martinez,mvila,alaba,modric,muniain,hazard,jovetic there ny signings first 2 seasons, won all comps 1st season then so far this season won every game:)
 
How much did you get Jovetic for? I am on the verge of signing Lewandowski for £9m but he would also be very promising. How much did you pay for Hazard also? I may go for Papadapolous as I've heard lots of good reports about him.

I got jovetic for 20m coz he wanted to leave club but can usually get for about 34-38m, i got hazard for 33m first season, papadopolous i got for 30m start of second season all doing class at the min.
 
Ok, I'll stick with Lewandowski as I don't have that amount of money. OK, I'll look at him if the right money comes avalible, ok bit much for me but I'll look

Ok mate tried lewandowski on last save hardly ever scored was the same on couple of other saves to.
 
I'll keep valencia and sell nani, keep welbeck and put him on loan to a club that have good youth facilities so he can develop from there and get more first team matches and then use him next season....Berbatov and evra i think u should sell, and get jordi alba (replace evra) and maybe Iker Muniain (might cost a bit) or Carlos Fierro (cheap option but need to wait till he gets to united and might need to develop him into a classy striker) or nick powell (cheap and just need to develop into a classy striker or att mid).
shinji kagawa (good decent footballer and can help on the finance)
Federico Macheda (personally not a big fan, i'm loaning him now to Juventus but might end up selling him)
Keep de Gea and sell lindegaard and maybe amos and try and get Marc-Andre ter Stegen (he will be very good replacement if de gea is injured or u need a second keeper)/you could try and get Thibaout Courtois or Alphonse Areola.

Smalling and cleverley i'm currently keeping them in my squad and try and develop them.....but if u want to loan smalling and get a good decent central defence...try and have a look at dede, cost me 20-25 mil to get him but when he get loads of first team football he will be good and good replacement for ferdinand or vidic.....

and yeah i also heard keane can become very good footballer but i just keep loaning him, and get rid of owen if u can, and consider younger strikers and develop them...

I have sold Evra and signed Baines as a replacement, sold Berbatov but need a replacement, hence the Lewandowski transfer talks.

Does anyone else have any tips?

to replace berbatov look at doumbia i signed him once scored like 53 goals in first season and i played rooney behind.
