Manchester United - Dline, Tempo, Width

I've been attempting to make my own tactics for Manchester United based on what Raikan007 has been making.

I use a 4-2-4, 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3.

I need some simple advice on setting the defensive line, tempo and width.

Any advice about playing vs similar teams and smaller teams is appreciated.

I put all about 6/10ths of the way up the line. Although I would like to play with more width and a faster tempo this means losing possession more often

I manage Manchester United, am half way through second season, 18 point lead by january lol!
