Verratti/Herrera/Romero for CM. You shouldn't turn Rafael down, since he is one of the best right backs in game. However, you can go for Dani Carvajal/Gino Peruzzi/Sebastien Corchia if you really don't like Rafael.
I'm playing 4th season as United manager right now and Rafael is still my first choice. I have Clyne as backup.
Rafael is one of the best RB ingame, no doubt. Also, you don't have to buy a new RB. Phil Jones is excellent at RB, including having a better stamina, better marking, better positioning than Rafael. Just play him there, he got around 6 MoM for me, and was highly rated throughout. If you want a backup in CD in the absence of Jones, I'd suggest Balanta or Doria or even Zouma.
