The big news is that Blackpool's Charlie Adam has joined United on loan with an option to buy deal, this has led to Darren Fletcher joining Chelsea for around £7.75 million. "Im hoping Bebe and Chris will gain more experience out on loan and am glad to have Charlie on borad to replace Darren. I think it has worked out much better for us".

A great game of football play by both teams City bossed the 1st half after an early goal From Tevez, they continued to dominate even after Giggs leveled with a free kick on the half hour mark. into the 2nd half and United began to take over the game then in the dying minutes City broke in numbers across the half way line, only for Vidic to step in a unleash a 70 yard ball over the top. Which was some how volleyed 1st time by Berbatov straight into the top corner (an early contendor for goal of the season). Unite come from behind and win 2-1.
