End of Season Review

Footballer of The Year & Top Goal Scorer

Robin van Persie won both awards after a sensational Season for the club, with 29 goals in 30 appearances. He lead the team to the title in the second half of the Season almost single handedly.

Golden Glove

David De Gea was almost unbeatable at times during the Season and without him we would have found it hard to win the League. Has grown tremendously since he joined the club years ago and matured into one of the best Goalkeepers in the world.

Team of The Season

After a great Season it was no real surprise that we had 6 players in this award. Juan Mata only made the bench which was the only shock as he became integral to the team in the later half of the Season. Hopefully these players will continue to grow at the club and remain integral to my squad.

Manager of The Year

I was awarded with this award after our great Season. Very pleased to have won it after being runner up in most months for the monthly awards, only winning it a handful of times.

Season 2015/2016

Pre-season

After a great Season last year I was very pleased with the team, but with the Champions League returning to Old Trafford I knew I needed to bolster the ranks a bit.

Gundogen was bought in to replace an ageing Michael Carrick in the DM spot he currently occupied. Gundogen is perfect replacement for the Deep lying playmaker role Carrick is so good at playing, with his range of passing and vision.

Zivkovic was bought in to provide cover and pace upfront. I decided that Angelo Henriquez was not up to standard for the Squad and shipped him off to Hull to make way for the new lad. He has a promising future with the club.

Gaston Romero comes into the club were namesake, and fellow countryman, Lucas Romero is playing so well to provide more depth in midfield. He will be a good squad player for the Ball winning midfield role. Felliani was never the same after his torn hamstring injury so was shipped off as soon as we could.

Niklas Sule joined to provide cover and a younger option in defence. His pace and strength should make him a great defender in the coming years.

Aaron Ramsey, albeit way over priced, was a bit of a wild card. I had some money to play with and didn't feel Wayne Rooney was up to scratch anymore (played him centre midfield all last Season and wasn't impressed) so I decided to sign someone I admire very much - Arsenal wanted £40m and I went to the board for the extra funds. The problem is the board seem to have chucked an extra £17m at him and then signed him. I'm a little peeved at the price as we could have gone for Paul Pogba in that region of money, but it's done now, and that's why you shouldn't rely on your board to conclude deals for you!

This is just a small summary of who was sold. I released 13 players in the Summer including Tom Cleverley, shipped more players out on loan etc. This is the main bulk of players that made up my £57m in transfer funds returning to the club.

Hererra wasn't Manchester United standard from what I saw of him last Season. Couldn't hack it. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and have another Season but he kicked up at not playing enough so I cashed in at the first opportunity.

Fellaini as stated above was never the same after his injury and no one wanted to sign him so it was a hard sale, but £11m is adequate for a player Moyes spent over the odds for massively. It's a shame because before his injury he was probably my best player for some time with 5 goals in 15 games!

I saw no future at the club for Nani or Hernandez and received good bids for them meaning they were free to leave.

James Wilson leaves on loan for the last Season with my aim to bring him back next Season to continue his development with the first team - he scored 2 goals in 7 games for us last Season when I gave him chances.

Ramsey £57M looks like alot of money!! Interesting to see if he lives up to the price tag!! Lots of good business there

Draw for first round of Capital One Cup. Lucky us.

Great start to the Season with the club, perfect so far. Chelsea and the boys are the only two teams with 100 percent records in the League so far already. Adnan Januzaj has said he will give me more time to sell him to Chelsea as I made attempts this Summer (I didn't, I pretended I did and there's no way he will be leaving).

WAYNE ROONEY STRIPPED AS CAPTAIN, VAN PERSIE REPLACES HIM.

Champions League Group G

FC Red Bull Slazburg 0-2 Manchester United
Wayne Rooney (11')
Mario Gotze (84')

A good month for the club here winning all of our games in all competitions. The penalty shoot-out against Chelsea was good and De Gea made a fantastic save to see us through. The Champions League so far is going great, very easy group should see us qualify with ease. Still 100% record in the League - level with Chelsea.

Wayne Rooney and I have had a big bust up as he isn't playing enough first team football and I told him he wasn't in my plans - despite playing him in the next game and he scored, which was his first start this Season. He went to the Squad to complain and after a chat they all agreed with me and he has been stripped as captain and Robin van Persie has replaced him.

October 2015

English Premier Division

Newcastle 2-2 Manchester United
Lucas Romero (1')
Rafael (33')

English Premier Division

Manchester United 2-0 Nottingham Forest

Gaston Gil Romero (20')

Adnan Januzaj (5')
Gaston Gil Romero (14')
Angel Di Maria (57')

Manchester United 1-0 Manchester City
Adnan Januzaj (3')

Capital One Cup

Manchester United 3-0 Manchester City
Stevan Jovetic OG (33')
Eder Balanta (51')
Adnan Januzaj (54')

Draw for the next round of the Capital One Cup, finally an easier side, mainly because we knocked the hard teams out... but probably where we will fail as well.

English Premier Division

Southampton 0-3 Manchester United
Adnan Januzaj (4')
Aaron Ramsey (37')
Robin van Persie (51')

A great month again for the club despite our 100% record ending to Newcastle, Chelsea's has as well. Destroyed Anderlecht and Manchester City over the two games. Up next month we have Chelsea in the League in what will set the pace for the title this Season.

Adnan Januzaj has been in superb form and I am hoping I can convince him to stay at the club - he wants to be a key player, which he currently is, but he believes he has a better chance of that at Chelsea. I can't even offer him a new contract!

November 2015

The Season is beginning to come thick and fast with multiple games a week so the real test begins now. We are able to secure qualification to the Knock-out stages of the Champions League with a couple more points too.

Fixtures

Manchester United 1-2 Anderlecht (CL)
- Ilkay Gundogen (1')

Chelsea 2-1 Manchester United (PL)

- Lucas Romero (7')

Manchester United 3-0 Aston Villa (PL)

- Marcos Rojo (12', 14', pen 45')

Dynamo Kiev 0-1 Manchester United (CL)
- Robin van Persie (4')

I am disappointed with this month. The game against Chelsea was a real 6 pointer and we didn't play to our usual standard, allowing them to take the lead and they never looked back.

Other News

Marcos Rojo asked for a chance in the first team before his hat-trick against Vil
la.

December 2015

A very big month ahead with lots of games to play. I am aiming to keep the Squad fit and win as many games as possible.

Manchester United 6-2 Tottenham (PL)
- Mario Gotze (16'), Robin van Persie (28', 39', pen 68'), Carrick (35'), Lucas Romero (49')

Swansea 0-1 Manchester United (PL)

- Mario Gotze (79')

Manchester United 3-1 FC Red Bull Slazburg (CL)
- Robin van Persie (12'), Adnan Januzaj (39', 43')

Manchester United 2-1 Hull (PL)
- Robin van Persie (28'), Phil Jones (44')

Burnley 0-5 Manchester United (C1C)
- Adnan Januzaj (3', 82'), Tom Heaton o.g. (63'), Richairo Zivkovic (76', 81')

Stoke 0-1 Manchester United (PL)
- Robert Huth o.g. (59')

Manchester United 2-1 Wolves (PL)
- Robin van Persie (7'), Phil Jones (8')

West Ham 1-6 Manchester United (PL)
- Robin van Persie (5', pen 61'), Jan Vertonghen (31', 67'), Eder Balanta (65', 90')

Manchester United 3-1 QPR (PL)
- Mario Gotze (15'), Lucas Romero (33'), Robin van Persie (38')

Fantastic month at Old Trafford with us winning every game, some very convincingly too. The win against Burnley fires us into the Semi-final of the Capital One Cup, something I am yet to win having been knocked out by a lower League club last Season. The victories against Spurs and West Ham were fantastic to watch, such great football being played.

Other News

Wayne Rooney declares himself happy to stay at the Club after falling out with myself last month over the lack of first-team appearances and stripping him of the captaincy, only for him to re-announce his desire to leave the Club the very next day.

Juan Mata breaks leg on return from a hip injury, suffered in training that made him miss out on 2 months of the Season, against Burnley, and will now be ruled out for 5-6 months, effectively ending his Season. Such a shame for the lad, and something I am truly gutted about - especially as he's just been named in the Team of The Year!

January Awards

Juan Mata was named in the World Team of The Year after a great Season last time out. This year he has been unlucky with injuries and hardly played. I am glad he was recognised for his contribution last time out though. Robin van Persie has been named among the substitutes.

Adnan Januzaj has been awarded the European Golden Boy award, beating Paul Pogba and stopping him from winning it for the third Season in a row. He has had a sensational year at the club highlighted by his successes this Season. I am just hoping I can convince him to back down from wanting to join Chelsea.

Aaron Ramsey has finished runner up to Gareth Bale in the Welsh Footballer of The Year award.

January 2016

Transfers

In:

Paul Pogba - £65m - Juventus

The player was unhappy with the clubs League standing and fell out with the manager so was available. Great deal for the club and relatively cheap compared to the £302m I was quoted back in the Summer. A home-grown talent from the club as well helps us out in the Champions League.

Out:

Wayne Rooney - £20m - Juventus
Martin Odegaard - Season Loan - Stoke

The Rooney deal went ahead before I signed Pogba so it might have helped us get him. Odegaard joins Stoke on a Season long loan because I want him to get some first team football and competing against Januzaj, Di Maria and Gotze he is struggling to get the opportunities.

Fixtures

Manchester United 2-0 West Ham
- Adnan Januzaj, Richairo Zivkovic

Liverpool 1-3 Manchester United
- Richairo Zivkovic, Eder Balanta, Angel Di Maria

Manchester United 3-4 Everton
- Robin van Persie (x2), Lucas Romero

West Brom 0-3 Manchester United
- Robin van Persie (x3)

Arsenal 3-2 Manchester United
- Adnan Januzaj, Robin van Persie

Bristol City 0-1 Manchester United (CAPITAL ONE CUP L1)
- Richairo Zivkovic

Manchester United 6-0 Leeds (FA CUP)
- Angel Di Maria, Mario Gotze, Adnan Januzaj (x2), Marcos Rojo, Bianchi o.g.

Manchester United 7-2 Bristol City (CAPITAL ONE CUP L2)
- Richairo Zivkovic (x5), Aaron Ramsey (x2)

Manchester United 0-1 Newcastle
- None
