A local man Alan Floyde is the 8th manager in 3 years at the mill. It comes as a surprise when Town seem to have found the right man in David Holdsworth but a offer from higher league team has drawn him away from field mill.

In an interview with BBC Nottinghamshire Floyde says he hopes to end the run of countless managers over the past years and get them back to the promised land (L2). A firm start to the season has risen the hopes inside the camp who are lying 4th in the table after 3 wins and 2 draws including an impressive draw at promotion favourites Luton Town where the stags came from 2 goals down to finish the game 2-2.

Good Luck Mate :) Nice to see someone doing a challenge story :)

12k not sure on wage but signed Ollie Hotchkiss from Leeds for 3k things not going well for the stags late of form drew 1-1 with Chester then losing to 1-0 to a late penalty to Kettering and then had the chance to put themselves back on track with a win at Grays but 2 superb free kicks from Grays the Stags were left disappointed after Kyle Perry struck a late penalty wide leaving it 2-2.
BTW this is my 1st game on FM10 so don't be surprised if it goes down the drain :p

Unlucky results and yeh fair enough but try ro keep it going mate :)

good luck m8 hope it goes well with your story unlucky on your result but keep at it

it will be hard not to get sacked if it is your first game to i recommend that you base your tactics on JP Woody or some of the other created ones

Going to try and keep going more disappointing results but managed to pick up a 4-0 win against Crawley.

Floyde said in a interview with mansfieldtown.net that he is pleased with the Crawley result but is frustrated by the draws and hopes to climb the table with a win at Barrow.

Barrow 1 - 0 Mansfield
Mansfield 2 - 0 Forest Green
Altringham 1 - Mansfield
Eastbourne 1 - 1 Mansfield

Yet more poor results from the stags resources are telling that the pressure is on Floyde to preform in his next games. He has said that he remains confident that we he is capable of pushing the stags high into the league and pushing for a play off spot. After his Mansfield squad are left 13th in the BSP.
