The AFA didnt like Oscar Ruggeri, and Maradonna said, all of us or none of us, so they didnt renew it.

Always going to happen was no more than a figurehead if they get right man in Argentina will be force to be reckoned with once again its hard not to be with the likes of Messi, Masc etc....

Argentina have got some really good players coming through and to think players like Banega, Gago, Zarate etc can't even get a sniff.

Next Fulham manager obviously. ;)

The Hand of God getting the thumb's down ? Oh deary me. (H)

**** manager. Deserves it.

Absolute nutter. But much fun and absolutely loves football. Plus he winds up the corrupt and dodgy establishment and isn't afraid to speak his mind. You're right about his management skills though :D

That's true, his charisma is undeniable. Would be entertaining to see him in the Premiership. I just pray he never manages to get the Arsenal job.

Shame, he's a character and whether he's telling the press to suck it, telling them they all take it up the **** or just plain shooting them or running them over in his car he always makes me laugh out loud.

Wouldn't you love to see him go up against a team managed by Mourinho.. The mind games would be amazing!!

haha ******* arsehole deserves all the bad luck he gets in my view

Shame, loved the way he dealt with things.

Fair play to him for standing by his backroom staff too. This wont go down well with the Argentinian public, thats for sure.

Maradona could return as Argentina manager after national team director, Carlos Bilardo, said the door remains open for him to come and talk.

There's a few links popping up on newsnow. co.uk about this story.
