Currently playing with Real Madrid and have put in a bid for Marco Reus, triggering the release clause €26,5M. And the player and his agent is demanding €15M in signing on fee, seems really high if you ask me. But can't remember how much other players have demanded before.

However I was wondering if anyone has used Marco Reus as a forward or as a right winger and in which roles and how did he perform. I'm obviously not going to be playing him on his favourite position since that is occupied by Cristiano.

Better players present for RW than Reus. He's a beast as an IF on the right, but then again, can't be compared to CR7. As for Forward, depends on the role, but he's generally pretty good there. But again, equally good/cheaper players present for that, depending on the year you're at and the role you want.

Started fresh with LFC Update, but might considering waiting until the end of the current window instead before getting started with the save. So I have Bale on the right wing as inside forward but I wanted competition for him and the other attacking positions in the lineup. Playing with a front three consisting of two inside forwards either on support or attack and a striker which is playing the false 9 role to supply my wingers in the best manner. So Reus would rotate on every position in attack and quiet frankly I'm more fond of Reus then Bale.

Using a 'Raumdeuter' might be good when playing with a false 9? That might be an option for either Cristiano on the right or Reus.

Raumdeuter is kinda different from IF/Winger, atleast in terms of tactical setup. I kinda had to setup my entire tactic around a raumdeuter in order to make it work, something which I wasn't fond of. But that might be just me.

Reus will be on his stronger foot if you play him on the right, so as an IF on the right might not work out so well. Since you want a rotational right IF, Xherdan Shaqiri might be a better option, although he's freshly moved to Inter, so that might not work out.. You could try the younger option with Januzaj/Sterling, probably (though I dunno how they are on LFC update). Lamela is another good option on Right IF.

Januzaj or Sterling was actually my backup plans should I opt to not go for Marco Reus. And they would be easier to rotate with and challenge in the long-term for an starting place in the lineup.

Have taken a look at Lucas, Cuadrado and Callejon as well but they are filthy expensive compared to what I would have to pay for a much better Marco Reus. The weird thing is that Reus is one of the cheapest options and still one of the best players, but unfortunately I would be finding some trouble in locating a role/position for him with Cristiano, Benzema, Bale, James etc.

Why dont you just play ronaldo as a forward?

Yes I'm going to finalize the signing of Marco Reus and rotate on Cristiano, Benzema, Reus and Bale. With all four of them able to play in various different positions taking on different roles. Jesé is either way injured for a couple of months so won't be a problem.
