Dear Diary,
Today we played another match against Atlante U-18s.We won 4-0 and I managed to score a brace and set-up another goal.I loved every minute on the pitch and i am very thankful to my coach as his tactics are beginning to get the best out of me

Dear Diary,
Today the coach called me and my mama in for a meeting.He told us that the coaching staff were very impressed with my commitment in training and my performances on the pitch.He said i had a great fututre ahead off me but warned me that i had to put in every ounce of effort to live up to my potential as sometimes the early promise fades.

In a Move that shocked the footballing world.Antonio Cassano has transferred to Manchester United for a fee of 32 million on the last day of the transfer deadline.Many players at Sampdoria were left speechless by this move and Andrea Poli hit out at the coaching staff for letting him go.What does this mean for the rest of the attacking midfielders at the club we dont know.

Today i was left shell-shock seeing Antonio Cassano go.He was not only my mentor but also a great friend and i saw him leave with a heavy heart.I will never forget him.However he told me before he left that 'Marco you have a great future,never thorw it away and work hard.Im sure that you will play for Italy one day'

Dear Diary,
Everyone is still feeling shocked over the departure of Antonio Cassano right from the club's star players down to the dude who lays out the kits before the home matches.No one is feels like training anymore and morale is very low.Fans have been throwing bottles and rubbish onto our training grounds but who really can blame them.Antonio Cassano-their idol,someone who we all looked up two has gone.

Dear Diary,
Today I played another match against Roma U-18s.We lost a hard fought game 2-1.I managed to set-up our teams only goal with a superb backheel in the path of our onrushing striker.Another good game for me but i was dissappointed that we had lost.

In a move which has been hailed by many as being superb,Sampdoria have engaged the services of Brazilian Midfielder Zico to nuture their budding attacking midfielders.Zico who was said to be the 'white Pele' in his time said that he is excited about coaching at Samdoria.

Today i got to meet a legend of the game.Zico who is said to be one of the greatest ever players has actually decided to come to Sampdoria.I am so excited about learning from him.The coaching staff told us that he was specially brought in to nurture us as Antonio Cassano has gone.What a brilliant capture.Zico was coming.

Dear Diary,
Today was our first training session with Zico.He took all the midfielders to one side and started doing some drills he had made.It was fun and exciting and really i could see myself concentrating so much when i was doing the drills.After the training session Zico took me to one side and told me what i have heard a thousand time 'you got talent' only this time it was from truly one of the greats of soccer.

Dear Diary,
Today we played a match against Palermo U-18s.We lost 3-2 and it was our second straight loss in a row.I managed to score a goal for my team but our performance was below-par and Palermo dominated most of the match.Morale was slowly dipping and it was not helped by our coach giving it to us after the game.We all know that we have to raise our performance by a good few notches in the next game.

Dear Diary,
Today i managed to get a place in the Reserve team squad and we were playing against Juventus reserves.We had a poor first half and we were 2-0 down.I was brought on in the 67th minute and in the first ten minutes i managed to tap the ball in the net after a rebound.I enjoyed the moment but were still a goal behind.In the 90th minute,just when were thinking that all hope was lost,we were awarded a free-kick just at the edge of the box.I was suprised when the coach asked me to take it and i knew it would be my teams last chance in this game.I fired it in and it hit the post and rebounded to our striker who was all too pleased to blast it into the net.I was mobbed by my team mates after the game.
