Mario Gotze - Worth every penny

I havn't seen a lot of people hype about Mario Gotze on here. I bought him after my 1st season when he was a wonderkid. Now he is a world class winger. I play him in a AML role and he is amazing.

Better than Hazard? Hazard was an absolute beast in FM11, Gotze wasn't that amazing. But now he looks much better!

It's not that a lot of people don't hype about Gotze, it's just that he's already so great a wonderkid that everybody and their dog have considered buying him already. It's like seeing threads titled "NEYMAR, NEW WONDERKID". But back to topic, he's fantastic, plays across the attacking midfield very well with consistent ratings of 7.80+.

Yeah great players he seems like a complete player but it's SHAME that his finishing is quite low but I think you haven't got the best from him, 9 assists and 5 MOM is still too low for a player with godly attributes like him. How much do you sign him though??

Well the guy probably don't follow football a lot but give him a break because even Cristiano Ronaldo never heard of Goetze

Mmm, I'm wondering if he's better than Pastore was last year.
Gotze is great, but he doesn't score because he can't finish and he hasn't a great long shot.
His assist are compensating everything though.

Sorry if you all know him so well but i didnt I have obviously heard of him but he is fantastic for me. he has a goalscoring record of about 1.4 every 2 games which is brilliant in my opinion. I have Cavani up top with Adebayor and they do some serious damage on the goal scoring front aswell. Do you guys think it would be better to try get more assists from Gotze? how would i do this? I play him as an IF at the minute

Well if you're winning games it isn't a big problem but I think it's better for him to assists and let your strikers focus to do the goal scoring job. Set him to AML IF with following PI : High attacking mentality and full freedom, passing to mixed, run from deep to sometimes (this is important), run with ball to often, no long shot, often through balls, cut inside and have roaming ticked. My AML Willian is doing extremely well with this setting with 15 goals and assists in 22 games

But you need someone who can control the midfield (De Jong, Busquets, Sandro, Fellaini Etc Etc!)

M'Vila would do a good job. So, the formation would look like this:

Hazard - Pastore/Ganso/Wilshere - Gotze
[RAMSEY/BARKLEY]-M'Vila

I am still thinking about putting gotze to AML adv playmaker with attack duty together with kagawa AMC inside forward and AMR winger. Do you think it will work?
