Playing my current season with the Villans, the January Transfer window had just passed and I managed to pull a huge coup in getting the skilled but unpredictable Adriano over to Villa Park first game for him a LC semi final meeting with Man Utd match starts off he scores within the first minute! Ashley Young then adds another just before the half hour mark.
Going into the sheds we looked home and dry and in the 68th minute mark Adriano adds a second to his tally and a third for our team.
3-0 up in the 78th minute I go and make all the approiate substitutions.
And turn on the cruise control but amazingly as the 83rd minute approaches, Ferdinand clears the ball from his own half onto Alphonse Areola's area which he routinely collects but hang on the ref has spotted something out of the ordinary and summons the young teen star over to him, his declared it was a handball!!! from my own goalkeeper within his own area and awards a penalty and also sends him off!!!
Berbatov converts the penalty and leaving me no with no choice but to bring everyone back and shift Chris Gardner to man between the sticks (used all my subs already) but somehow Man Utd get another 3 goals within 7 minutes after the conroversial send off with a double to Rooney and one to Giggs which see them thru to the final.
Fuming as **** I switch off FM (didnt save it will try that match again later) and post here to hear if anyone has ever encountered this glitch before.
