Hello all,

I used the search option, and looked up other kinds of threads but couldn't find my answer. When I'm at a football match it sais:

Match Odds: Team A: 13-8 Draw: 2-1 Team B: 6-4(Fav)

I know sort of what they mean but I can't get a hold on it. Can anyone explain me what it exactly says?

13/8 means put 8 pound on to win 13

2/1 means put 1 pound on to win 2 pounds or 8 pounds on would win you 16

6/4 means put 4 pound on to win 6 or 8 pounds on to win 12 pound (this is the most likely outcome so pays out the least)

anyone who bets on Team A gets 13 times what they put on Team A divided by 8.
anyone who bets on Team B gets 6 times what they put on Team B divided by 4, making them the favourites because if you put an even amount on either team you would get less if team B won then if team A won.

Hmm oke understand that then. I'm used to see it otherwise, more like:
Team A: 1.625
Draw: 2.0
Team B: 1.5

Just remember number on the left is winnings right is stake. Can you not change the betting in the settings?

By the way, is it just me or rarely do the odds match the prediction commentary before the game? And the press conference after? I mean, there are so many times that a draw is predicted, the game draws, but the journalist says a heavy loss was expected ...
